Hi everyone!
I haven't seen a post about NSU's Entry-level BSN program for Fall 2015 so I decided to start one. If there is another thread that everyone else is on, please let me know! I double-checked to make sure there weren't any posts hiding but I could be wrong.
Anyway, I am waiting for my final transcripts to be sent to Nova. Other than that, now it's just the waiting game and I'm super anxious. They wont be calling people until Feb or March probably. I finished my AA with Broward College this December. I underestimated application deadlines and the application process to get everything together so unfortunately I will have a semester off from school.
I also applied to FAU's Traditional BSN program. I have a thread about that as well if you also applied to that school. You can jump over to that thread by clicking here
If all else fails I was thinking of just going back to Broward College, possibly their North campus.
If anyone has any stories or advice/knowledge about any of these programs, please share! If you're an applicant to NSU as well, good luck! Hope we get the responses that we want.
My Kaplan score is the only reason I am not breaking down crying lol, I've heard many people get 50s and 60s. For the group interview they basically tell you to turn around in a little group and discuss the question the ask you then one person speaks for everyone. Which I did not like, I wish we could have all answered supporting one another.i think the order of events varies. At least for the campus I was at everything was kind of as you go. Test, interview, financial aid, tour.
Yes, and some people who score poorly on the Kaplan, still get in. So, that's why, just stay positive! Oh, one person speaks for all, wow I wouldn't of thought it was like that. And you spent the whole day there?? How did you dress if I may ask, like professional business attire?
Hello everyone! I got the call and have my Baptist Scholars panel interview next Wednesday (May 27th) at 1PM!!! Did anyone else get their interview scheduled?? Any advice? Thanks!!!
That's awesome Sami! Congrats!! You applied for the Baptist Scholars after your Nova interview or before ?? GOOD LUCK!

I arrived at 8:30 and left around 2. The group I was in didn't want a lunch break in between so it was about an hour shorter than it was supposed to be. I imagine your campus is larger so maybe it will take a little longer since there is more to tour. I work black slacks, flats, a white blouse and a black sweater. I also tried not to wear to much makeup lol. And thank you! You'll do good wish you luck :) Have you been studying for the Kaplan?

LOL! Yea same thing I was thinking, simple and professional. Sounds good! Thanks so much for answering all my questions!! I have been studying, I am studying right now actually and just going over some of the things I have found online, while I wait for the book I purchased which I should be getting on Monday. Do they let you use a calculator on the computer for the math part of the exam ?

There is a calculator on the test, but the proctor gave us hand calculators she says most of the time the online ones do not work. I also bought the Kaplan book it really only helped with the Math and Reading sections on the test.

Awesome, so the math shouldn't be so difficult. Math is definitely not my strongest subject so I was a bit worried about that. Yea, awesome. I also found online some articles that have helped me review some of my science, which I have read many people say has been the hardest section.
