Hi everyone!
I haven't seen a post about NSU's Entry-level BSN program for Fall 2015 so I decided to start one. If there is another thread that everyone else is on, please let me know! I double-checked to make sure there weren't any posts hiding but I could be wrong.
Anyway, I am waiting for my final transcripts to be sent to Nova. Other than that, now it's just the waiting game and I'm super anxious. They wont be calling people until Feb or March probably. I finished my AA with Broward College this December. I underestimated application deadlines and the application process to get everything together so unfortunately I will have a semester off from school.
I also applied to FAU's Traditional BSN program. I have a thread about that as well if you also applied to that school. You can jump over to that thread by clicking here
If all else fails I was thinking of just going back to Broward College, possibly their North campus.
If anyone has any stories or advice/knowledge about any of these programs, please share! If you're an applicant to NSU as well, good luck! Hope we get the responses that we want.
I got a called from Baptist Scholars Program today and they scheduled my interview for Friday May 29th at 2:30. Good luck to the ones that have their interview today, let us know how it went.
Hey Lilian! First off, congrats! ;)My interview was today, and I feel really good about it! *Fingers crossed* Just as Belky mentioned they were all very nice, I had 4 panel interviewers. I found it to be more of a behavioral interview, so if you are not familiar with those types of interviews, you can do a quick google search and become familiar with the types of questions that get asked, I used this site as a refresher: The Master Guide to Behavioral Interview Questions I find it helpful to have a few previous experiences/situations in my back pocket that can be easily referenced. Other than that take a deep breathe, be confident and you will be great! :)
I asked when we would all be getting responses by and they said the end of June. Hope this helps!!
@nurselover congratssss, which campus did you apply?
@Sami thank you so much for the information, I am going to check that site because I am not familiar with behavioral interviews. I am going to do my best and trust God. fingers crossed too and hopefully all of us here will be accepted. it means a lot to me and I know for you guys too.

I felt they were all very nice and understanding, overall I feel that I did well. Definitely behavioral/job related interview questions. Like you have mentioned before, be confident but don't be afraid to be nervous everyone is. Just answer the best you can and be yourself. There is no right or wrong answer. I asked how many get interviewed and how many make the cut, she said out of 110 that they interview 40 get accepted so be hopeful and everything will go great
I got accepted!!!!! I am sooooooooooooooo excited, happy, excited, did I say happy? yes yes yes. Congrats Lilian!!yay......and congrats to all accepted!!!! :)
