Nova Southeastern University Entry-level BSN Fall (August) 2015! (:

Published

Hi everyone!

I haven't seen a post about NSU's Entry-level BSN program for Fall 2015 so I decided to start one. If there is another thread that everyone else is on, please let me know! I double-checked to make sure there weren't any posts hiding but I could be wrong.

Anyway, I am waiting for my final transcripts to be sent to Nova. Other than that, now it's just the waiting game and I'm super anxious. They wont be calling people until Feb or March probably. I finished my AA with Broward College this December. I underestimated application deadlines and the application process to get everything together so unfortunately I will have a semester off from school.

I also applied to FAU's Traditional BSN program. I have a thread about that as well if you also applied to that school. You can jump over to that thread by clicking here

If all else fails I was thinking of just going back to Broward College, possibly their North campus.

If anyone has any stories or advice/knowledge about any of these programs, please share! If you're an applicant to NSU as well, good luck! Hope we get the responses that we want.

Guys I am in second semester of entry level nursing at Kendall campus if you have any questions let me know.

hi yenice292009!! thank you for your help. I want to ask you if is really good Nova as a nursing school and how is the quality of the professors? also, I have heard that the first semester is really difficult is that true? thanks in advance

Are you currently a baptist scholar? If so what are the main difference between the scholars and campus students?

@NurseLover21 yes of course I went to the interview either way and took my exam so when I receive my response it's for the winter term, which I am okay with as long as I get accepted lol! I applied during the last days of April, first days of May!! Fingers crossed!!

Hi @yenics292009! Congrats on your acceptance to the nursing program!

Can you give us a idea of what your class schedule looks like? Were you able to choose the dates & times of your classes? Were you able to select your clinical site location? How many times during the second semester do you have clinical rotations? What are your clinical hours like? :)

Ok guys pray for me. My interview with Baptist is tomorrow. I will need some serious prayer. Any last minute advice will be appreciate it!!!

Good luck nurselover21, just some tips avoid to show them that you are very very nervous. If you dont know where they are located then arrive at least 30 min before your appointment because the building is behind a parking lot that is on the back of everything and be yourself and do your best that is all. Good luck

Thank you Lilian I will be there before my interview so that I can locate the building. Thanks again.

Does anyone have any news on the baptist scholar program?

nothing yet, this waiting is driving me crazy

Hi guys! I applied to the Miami campus, had my interview the 28th of May and got accepted last Monday. Turned in my Baptist application pretty late (last Wednesday) and they told me they'd call me back sometime this week to schedule an interview. Has anybody been accepted for the program yet or are they waiting until they finish all interviews?
