Nova Southeastern University Entry-level BSN Fall (August) 2015! (:

Published

Hi everyone!

I haven't seen a post about NSU's Entry-level BSN program for Fall 2015 so I decided to start one. If there is another thread that everyone else is on, please let me know! I double-checked to make sure there weren't any posts hiding but I could be wrong.

Anyway, I am waiting for my final transcripts to be sent to Nova. Other than that, now it's just the waiting game and I'm super anxious. They wont be calling people until Feb or March probably. I finished my AA with Broward College this December. I underestimated application deadlines and the application process to get everything together so unfortunately I will have a semester off from school.

I also applied to FAU's Traditional BSN program. I have a thread about that as well if you also applied to that school. You can jump over to that thread by clicking here

If all else fails I was thinking of just going back to Broward College, possibly their North campus.

If anyone has any stories or advice/knowledge about any of these programs, please share! If you're an applicant to NSU as well, good luck! Hope we get the responses that we want.

:) thanks Belky! I searched through NSU's site and found the immunizations we need, as well as the info for the background check. It does not appear as though we need to be certified in CPR prior to starting.

Hey guys. We were told two weeks from our interview date which was April 2. So hopefully by this week we hear some good news!

I knew that I knew you from somewhere!! lol I mean I have never met you but I recongized your face. I haven't heard anything yet and I am super anxious. If by this Thursday I don't hear anything I will call Friday morning. I think 2 weeks later is a good time to call.

Daniel and Jacklyn, I haven't heard anything yet. I'm also waiting till next week. I keep telling myself it's only been a week, so we are still good. Daniel please keep us informed when you call, if anything I will also be calling on Monday !

Hi! I've been following this thread since before I had my interview and finally decided to post after getting my acceptance to the main campus about a week ago. I'm so excited to meet everyone and will definitely message you about that fb group!

NurseTica I actually have no clue as to how to message you so I can join the fb group

Good luck to everyone that has recently interviewed! It took my group a week and a half to get our response... So hang in there and stay positive. =)

Belky84, did everyone from your group get accepted that you know of ?

Hey everyone who was accepted to main campus... Send me your names so I can add you to facebook group

Oh btw if you guys need your immunizations done, I work at a clinic and we provide them here also the college physical. The clinic is Community health of south Florida

Daniel, do you happen to have a fee schedule for the clinic? Which CHI do you work at?

I work at the main one at cutler bay, the fee varies depending on your income/insurance. I know titer tests are done separately in labs but the vaccines/shots have a set price for each ppd is around $7, tdap $53 and mmr $61 from the top of my head

Thanks! I used to volunteer at that one (Doris Ison) many, many years ago. I don't know if insurance will cover physicals for school or titer tests either. I will call them though and see what the cost will be and if that is a possibility. Did you find the NSU page with all the info regarding immunizations that we need?
