Hi everyone!
I haven't seen a post about NSU's Entry-level BSN program for Fall 2015 so I decided to start one. If there is another thread that everyone else is on, please let me know! I double-checked to make sure there weren't any posts hiding but I could be wrong.
Anyway, I am waiting for my final transcripts to be sent to Nova. Other than that, now it's just the waiting game and I'm super anxious. They wont be calling people until Feb or March probably. I finished my AA with Broward College this December. I underestimated application deadlines and the application process to get everything together so unfortunately I will have a semester off from school.
I also applied to FAU's Traditional BSN program. I have a thread about that as well if you also applied to that school. You can jump over to that thread by clicking here
If all else fails I was thinking of just going back to Broward College, possibly their North campus.
If anyone has any stories or advice/knowledge about any of these programs, please share! If you're an applicant to NSU as well, good luck! Hope we get the responses that we want.
I just checked my e-mail, and I haven't received any communication from them at all. I am sure you all did extremely well and will get in. They are so busy and still have time before the semester starts, so everyone they interview is being strongly considered. How did you all do on the Kaplan? Did you all share scores?

Thank you sperky I'm sure you will get in as well, I got a 76 overall and a 72 on science hope that's enough
Daniel, I got a 78% overall. I do not remember what I got in each section. I just looked at previous groups (2013 and 2014) and the people who got accepted. Their scores were anywhere from 70% to 83%. I know everything else factors in as well, but at least that can bring you some piece of mind. I don't know if you got a feeling during the interview, but I sure did. I really felt like I did well. I hope I am right!
Belky, do you mind sharing all of the requirements you need to meet in order to start in August? I have read that there are vaccines and background checks. Can you give me a list of everything you need to provide NSU with so that I can start preparing for the expense? Thank you in advance!!!
Are you sure you want me to ruin the excitement?! Lol
The most important is paying the $200.00 acceptance fee. Once you pay that, they'll send you a code to complete the background check. You don't pay for that seperately. Hope this helps.
