I have a couple of friends that are doing other online programs and they are not happy right now haha. But I am looking forward to this program.

I have decided to make this new forum because I just applied to the University of West Florida FNP Online Program and thought this would be a good way for all prospects to communicate as we go through the admission process. I know we must all have some questions, and I am hoping we can all ease each other through this process. Hey guys! Since you all have been accepted into the program already, I was wondering if you guys knew the process in regards to health assessment course. Do you guys have to travel to campus to complete a head-to-toe assessment? Or is it just done by video or on Shadow Health ?

Hey PacificaRN, I know some online programs require travel to the university for the health assessment portion to complete the head-to-toe. Is that required for this program ? If not then do you guys only use Shadow Health? ... Another question for testing purposes are the professors well preparing you for exams?

Nick , the essay part is the easiest part don't worry. They ask you a question, for example mine was explain a time where you had a group presentation. What was your role? Outcome? Etc. then below that they have lines to write. So it's really just one page. Just make sure to answer the questions. I didn't write mine so fancy like a real essay, I just wrote to answer the questions.

The background check and your immunizations, fafsa, and waive your health insurance.
