I haven't seen a post about NSU's Entry-level BSN program for Fall 2015 so I decided to start one. If there is another thread that everyone else is on, please let me know! I double-checked to make sure there weren't any posts hiding but I could be wrong.
Anyway, I am waiting for my final transcripts to be sent to Nova. Other than that, now it's just the waiting game and I'm super anxious. They wont be calling people until Feb or March probably. I finished my AA with Broward College this December. I underestimated application deadlines and the application process to get everything together so unfortunately I will have a semester off from school.
I also applied to FAU's Traditional BSN program. I have a thread about that as well if you also applied to that school. You can jump over to that thread by clicking here
If all else fails I was thinking of just going back to Broward College, possibly their North campus.
If anyone has any stories or advice/knowledge about any of these programs, please share! If you're an applicant to NSU as well, good luck! Hope we get the responses that we want.

Hii Lilian, everything went great, and everyone was super nice. Honestly just be yourself for the interview, they make it as comfortable as possible. There was three individual questions , and two group questions, just to see how well you work in a team.
For those of you that were in the interview yesterday, quick question... I went on my VIP page and for some reason I can't see my NSU ID anymore. Can you guys see it ? Or is it just me
Isanardo, my NSU ID was removed from my VIP page the day I received an invitation for my interview and is still not visible. I have spoken with the school many times after that, and every time they ask for that number and it is still linked with my info. I don't think it has anything to do with the results of your interview. I am sure you did awesome!!! I cannot wait to hear the good news :)
For anyone who has taken the Kaplan, can you please tell me if there is any basic algebra on the test? It is my understanding that it consists of ratios, proportions, fractions, decimals,and some basic conversions for dosage equations. Thank you in advance!
@sperkyperk, Just like @daniel.silva008 mentioned. The interview really is not that bad at all. I think most of us just have major anxiety that day. The Kaplan test as far as math, reading and writing are pretty basic knowledge. I did not study for reading or writing since I am stronger in those areas. I mainly focused on the math part which if you study from the Kaplan book for this part it helps ALOT. The Kaplan prepares you for MUCH more than what is on the exam in regards to math. For science, if you are using the Kaplan book I would not recommend spending too much time in that section with the book. If you want to do a quick review since it includes all Science (even though my test only consisted of A&P) it is better to be prepared because you never know. I went to MDC for my pre-reqs and we had an AMAZING A&P book. If that is your case I would recommend reading, studying and reviewing the chapter reviews at the end of each chapter. Good Luck!!
SRamirez011, I wanted to thank you for taking the time to inform me about your experiences with the Kaplan exam. I am so excited about my interview this Thursday, but at the same time, I am super nervous. We have all worked so hard to get to this point. I am waiting to study for Physiology, as I have heard many people say that it is very difficult to prepare for. Someone mentioned to me that the questions were in such detail that it would require a lot of preparation. Unfortunately, I do not have the time left to prepare in such a manner, so I will do a quick review and hope for the most positive outcome. I wanted to give the other sections more attention, as they are easier to review. I hope I am making a smart decision!
I recently applied to Nova for the Nursing Program. I submitted all requested documents. Does anyone knows how long does it take for the admission dept to call you for an interview after you have submitted all required documents? Also, anyone can share info on deadline to apply for the Baptist Scholarship. Thank you for your help with these questions.
I just reviewed anatomy and physiology online through youtube videos lol and there is a great forum on here with a list of videos and reviewed my reading and math and writing from kaplan study guide, and brushed up on grammar and writing skills through cliffnotes book on amazon :) good luck everyone im sure you will all do great
