Nova Southeastern University Entry-level BSN Fall (August) 2015! (:

Published

Hi everyone!

I haven't seen a post about NSU's Entry-level BSN program for Fall 2015 so I decided to start one. If there is another thread that everyone else is on, please let me know! I double-checked to make sure there weren't any posts hiding but I could be wrong.

Anyway, I am waiting for my final transcripts to be sent to Nova. Other than that, now it's just the waiting game and I'm super anxious. They wont be calling people until Feb or March probably. I finished my AA with Broward College this December. I underestimated application deadlines and the application process to get everything together so unfortunately I will have a semester off from school.

I also applied to FAU's Traditional BSN program. I have a thread about that as well if you also applied to that school. You can jump over to that thread by clicking here

If all else fails I was thinking of just going back to Broward College, possibly their North campus.

If anyone has any stories or advice/knowledge about any of these programs, please share! If you're an applicant to NSU as well, good luck! Hope we get the responses that we want.

Hey Lilian,

To what campus are u applying too? The kaplan exam is not so bad just focus on science which was the hardest

I am applying to Miami campus, is it math not so bad? I am worrying a lot in math section and from where do you study for the science part?

Hi everyone! I have been reading everyones post for the past few days and decided i should just join in lol. My name is Jaclyn :) I have also applied for NSU Nursing Fall 2015. I haveapplied for the Miami campus and have my test and interview this Thursday, April 2.

Is anyone else going to be there that day? Maybe we can get to know each other? It could benefit us all since I know part of the interview is a group discussion.

Thanks to everyone for posting your expereinces with interview day and the test. I am super anxious about this exam!

The math is super easy for me math is my strongest subject is basically fractions and decimals, know how to add, divide, multiply, and divide.

The science part basically just review the systems they said in the kaplan study guide.

Hey NurseTica,

Sure we should start one for the students going to the main campus

Hey I was thinking yes.. you wanna start a facebook group or you want me to do it

Good luck Jaclyn and Lillian! You guys will do great.

Sami... I'm working on getting the Baptist application completed too. Was thinking about sending it in by next week.

Start a forum better that way everyone can see it and just paste the link here.

I MADE A GROUP ON FACEBOOK for those of.you accepted to the main campus. Let me know your name on facebook through private msg and I will add you.. we can then talk about orientation etc. Since we will all be on same boat. Great way to meet future classmates and break that first day jitters... Cant wait to meet u all

I just didnt want it to get confused here with this forum since this is the one mostly everyone goes too. In previous year threads they would make a facebook page.. for each campus.. but whatever works lol.. I just want a way we can all get together who are in same campus

I will also be interviewing on April 2nd. I heard baptist won't take a look at applications until May, so hopefully get an accepted by then. Btw what did you guys use to study for the science portion of the kaplan test?

I choose the 16th so I can have more time to study, hopefully I will still have chance to get accepted.

I will see you Thursday!! I am reviewing the science portion from my Kapln review book. I am mostly going over only the anotomy and physisology sections sinc everyone says there is so much of that on there. The review books covers a lot of biology but I just glanced over it.

Does anyone have any better suggestions for us to study from?
