I haven't seen a post about NSU's Entry-level BSN program for Fall 2015 so I decided to start one. If there is another thread that everyone else is on, please let me know! I double-checked to make sure there weren't any posts hiding but I could be wrong.
Anyway, I am waiting for my final transcripts to be sent to Nova. Other than that, now it's just the waiting game and I'm super anxious. They wont be calling people until Feb or March probably. I finished my AA with Broward College this December. I underestimated application deadlines and the application process to get everything together so unfortunately I will have a semester off from school.
I also applied to FAU's Traditional BSN program. I have a thread about that as well if you also applied to that school. You can jump over to that thread by clicking here
If all else fails I was thinking of just going back to Broward College, possibly their North campus.
If anyone has any stories or advice/knowledge about any of these programs, please share! If you're an applicant to NSU as well, good luck! Hope we get the responses that we want.
Ho Nurselover21!! in my case it took like 3 weeks to get the email with the interview appointment but was always receiving phone calls to see if I had any question regarding the process or about the program.

Lilian2727, thanks again for offering me help. I hope that you and I have a chance to finally meet. I know that we have both experienced a similar path. Hopefully, NSU is where we end up. I will check out the site you mentioned. I have been using Khanacademy thus far.
Nurselover21, I wanted to share my experience with you, but please keep in mind that every situation is different. The day my documents were received, I was contacted by phone. Later on that day, I was contacted again to let me know that my file was being submitted to the college of nursing for review. Five minutes later, I received a call for an interview. The next morning, around 10am, it showed up on my VIP page. Please understand that this doesn't mean one student is better than the other. I think I just got lucky and caught them during a slow time early in March. If you have questions, contact them. I was constantly in contact with them. I think it shows you care and really want this. I even visited the Miami campus to meet the office staff and make some new connections. The minute you get the call/e-mail, let us know!!!! I pray that everyone on this forum gets in :)
You are never a bother. Nurses need to help others, and the fact that you are willing to do that for me speaks a lot about you. I will check that out. I am only studying what I have heard and/or read is on the exam for the science portion. I don't have a lot of time, as my interview is this Thursday. I am just watching videos and taking notes to go over before bedtime. If you need anything, let me know.
Those two forums helped me alot in reviewing physiology.. also I bought on amazon cliffnotes anatomy and physiology.. and it helped a lot..
I studied basically for writing, and anatomy and physiology I didn't study for reading and math cause those are my strongest... good luck to all.. once you get accepted there's a lot of things to do afterwards.. lol

For those of you who have already been accepted, how long after your interview did you wait to find out? I just had my interview last Thursday and I am already anxious lol
