Today I am sending my application to Nova Southeastern for the Fall 2009. Excited and hopeful. Give me a shout out if you are sending your application as well.:yeah:

You should ask in your interview tomorrow when acceptance letters will be going out and let us know! :) since they've been telling each of us something different. Maybe you'll get a more accurate answer.

And good luck!!! Its no big deal its very relaxed. I guess it just depends who you get for your personal interview. The prof I had when I went on march 11th was the nicest person ever.

how long of a notice do they give you for the interview? im out of state at the moment, but will def. make the trip down for it if i do get one! just wondering how much time in advance they give you to get there.

Well like I said my interview was all the way back on march 11th and they called me about 3 weeks or so before that day. So I think you should be fine.

if i get one... :/ i still not heard a peep from them! i called last week, and they have everything but 1 of my recommendation letters, my prof. just sent it in, so they should have it by next week. I wonder if they will wait to have everything to even start looking at it...

does anyone have a contact e-mail for anyone in admissions that may be able to help me? ive called a few times to check on things, and they are super nice, but id rather be able to e-mails someone directly and not bother as much.

Thanks!

One of the people in charge of assisting in the addmissions department helped me a lot when I was applying.

I was actually called in for an interview before I even had a chance to send in my second recommendation letter & still havnt even done so. So I don't know if that'll affect me. I just sent monica an email to check on the status of my application.

Just received an email saying acceptance letters will begin to go out the 1st week of may! :)

Students who applied and got accepted to the Nova-Fort Myers campus should have already recieved their packets on payments and etc. Unfortunately, mine was lost in the mail and I didn't recieve it until a later date. In the package, it verifies your acceptance and gives you your student id. Once you register for your email and stuff, as an email states, your financial aid stuff will be posted and go can then start that. Good luck to everyone and I cannot wait to meet everyone attending. :)

Hey Guys,

I applied for the RN program at BCC starting in August, and I'm pretty sure I'll get in b/c I have a good GPA, but now I'm just wondering if I will be able to survive there. I have a few friends that started the program last January (all of them got to the program with GPAs from 3.6 to 4.0), and they are barely surviving. One of them failed the math test and got held back. I understand and have been preparing myself for the program to be challenging. But I don't want to get into something that people just want you to fail, and most cannot complete/graduate.

I've been starting to look around for other schools, my major issue with other schools is the lengh of the program. I guess if I go let's say to Nova I'll have to wait another year to get into the program right? Because the pre-reqs there are different from BCC. What about other schools?

I would appreciate any imput from you guys, I feel a little lost right now.

Have a nice day!

I feel a little lost right now as well. I was in the RN program at BCC North but am now looking another school. I'm hoping to find some advice on here. By process 2, the number of students in my class dropped by more than 1/2. So many people get held back. I have one more chance left in their program, and I'm not taking it because even if I get past Process 2 with it, if I need another chance later on I will be forced out and have to go to LPN school. I'm looking for a better experience than what I received there. Any advice is much appreciated. I already have my AA and am looking at possibly joining a BSN program if I can get in. My poor GPA doesn't look so hot anymore.... :o

Interview on Friday went fine. It was a little lengthy but quite ordinary. The waiting begins; however, time is flying by so fast. If I get in great, if I don't I will just take some more classes and re-apply next semester & a couple of other programs. I feel really relaxed about the whole thing. We shall see. Thanks for asking...sorry but I can't respond to private messages because I don't have that "privilege" or whatever. Hope everyone's interviews go well & good luck to all!

Cherryfirecracker,

did you get in?

Acceptance letters for the Davie campus won't be sent out until May. Or maybe it's June, I don't know. Anyway, I will keep you posted when I hear back.
