I applied to Nova's Entry Level BSN program today for Fall 2012 semester and thought it may be helpful to start up a forum.

Has everyone finished their perquisites? Does anyone else have a not so competitive GPA (like me)? Does anyone know who is considered a competitive applicant? Where is everyone else applying?

Hi everyone! I had my interview this morning at the Kendall campus. I am really nervous and hoping for the best!! Did anyone else have an interview today??
I tried to call main campus today to see I I could check my status. He said there was an update but when he asked the brain department they said there was no decision made and they wouldn't be made til the first week of June. I hope that isn't bad news. Like he didn't wanna tell me over the phone I wasn't accepted or something arghhh the wait is killing me!!
Had my interview today, Main Campus. I felt good about it. They asked me the Fictional Character Question. I knew they would ask me that one, AND I was the first one to get a questions and first to introduce myself. I guess that's what I get for sitting on the far left of the other students. Anyhow I am a confident person so...I didn't feel much pressure. Everybody's answer was pretty much the same...decent nobody bombed and nobody excelled greatly. I heard they don't even care what you say all they care about is your body language, communication and respect level. They also said you can get either rejected in the next week or two, accepted in the next week or two, or hold until a later time after they conduct more interviews. Hold means you weren't the strongest and they don't want to rush into a decision until they have seen other candidates or that they are waiting for transcripts to come in. Good Luck To Everybody.
Does anyone know if we're supposed to be CPR certified before the program?! I already am but I think I need to renew it pretty soon. So just wondering :/
All of the other school I applied to require it So im guessing it will be for nova too. If you just have to renew you might as well. I went ahead an got certified just to get it out of the way. One less thing to worry about completing in a month and a half.

Ok sooooo ... I just had my interview today at the Kendall Campus. And im not going to lie i am nervous, and even more now after the interview. I got my interview email sent to me May 3rd, 2012. I scheduled it asap...for May 9th 2012 (today). It was a group of three who were in the room being interviewed all together. It was not as intimidating as I thought and they were very pleasant and nice. The students being interviewed along with me were good at responding and i think i was too, but then again sometimes we doubt ourselves. But i guess its normal! Well, i didnt struggle in the responses thank god. The questions were scenerios and they we not too hard to answer. I think its just the anxiety/nerves that get to us and stuff. Well, I walked out ok but still nervous because i still have to wait another 2-3 weeks to know if i will get into the Fall 2012 Term. Now the questions: Does anyone know the number of people who get accepted from these interviews. Who many people get the interviews? How many get eliminated after the interviews. Has anyone gotten an acceptance letter yet? Why were some students emailed earlier than others regarding their interviews? What do they base their acceptance after an interview: was it what you wore? your answers? Please, anyone who has been in my shoes let me know? :) THANKS A BUNCH .
sweetpriscy17... I know the feeling.. i got accepted a week ago to the kendall campus.. so far i know five people who got accepted ... i was in the first group of interviewers... " they said at the main campus to my friend who got the interview there that the first people for interview were the best applicant and the strongest "... I wasnt expecting to be accepted and for my surprise i received the email on saturday morning.. In my group of interviewers 4 got in out of 5.. so we were very good as a team and i think thy we all got in.... Ohh man!!! Well me and my friend got interviews today. Im just so anxious to know. There were alot of people being interviewed today too. All of us looked professional and answered the questions without looking dumb lol or stuttered. I guess its up to god. :)
