Nova Entry Level BSN Winter 2017

I know some people have already interviewed for Nova's nursing program starting in winter due to the fact that the fall is full... So, I started a new section! Good luck to everyone who has already interviewed and all that are still applying! Keep us updated!!

I've read in previous Winter forums that people start getting interview invites by Oct, and the last day of interview is more or less Nov 11, I think they already know who are they going to interview and will start sending invites at the same time, they give you two weeks notice, do not waste time and start studying for the Kaplan, they science part is mostly physiology and its a beast...We are over stressing, only 3 months to prepare everything, still plenty of time. Who applied to Miami Campus? It gets full pretty fast. I selected in my application Davie as a second option, bc I don't mind driving. I live 40 mins away from Davie.

Thankfully I already had my interview but I think its because since the fall got full so quickly, the winter is getting full too and they might be getting more selective. And youre right the anatomy section was so hard!!! How did your interview go?

I applied to the Miami campus. I had my interview a week ago, hopefully I got in. Lets see!!

I'm still waiting for the invite. I'm applying the second time around. I don't want to freak out anybody but I didn't do well on the Kaplan and please don't ask about my score. We all know what a good and bad score is on a test. All it matters is that we are trying our best. I know someone who scored excellent on the Kaplan and got denied bc she wasn't that strong. My best advice is to show motivation and enthusiasm on the interview, do not rely on high GPA bc grades doesn't mean anything and don't take it personal, you can be Einstein's daughter and if they see that nursing is not for you, they will deny you. For the interview questions they ask basically the same to everybody, but they change questions every semester. i.e If you were interviewed in room 1, the set of questions in room 2 are NOT going to be the same. And please SHARE INFO BC NOVA AIN'T GOING TO SEARCH YOUR ip: address.

Have you received any updates? If not, until next Monday bc that's when they sent out interview invites.

Hello everyone! I want to congratulate those who got accepted and a good luck to those who will be getting interviewed.

I applied back in June and still have not received an email for an interview. I had called an advisor name James who said that all emails will be sent out by the end of this week so I am hoping I get something back. Thanks for sharing your experience guys I truly appreciate it!

When is the last day to apply ?

I believe the deadline is November 1 but since they have a rolling admission it will fill up quick. The sooner you apply the better!

this is my second time applying as well. The same thing happened to me with the kaplan... wish you the best of luck! everyone if you can please give a glimpse of some of the interview questions especially the scenario types questions they ask. i would very much appreciate it!

Anyone here have issues with transfer credits while applying and were you still able to proceed with the interview steps before admissions cleared it up?
