Nova Entry Level BSN Winter 2017

Published

I know some people have already interviewed for Nova's nursing program starting in winter due to the fact that the fall is full... So, I started a new section! Good luck to everyone who has already interviewed and all that are still applying! Keep us updated!!

when you open the page it will show you a couple of interviews dates.Just select the date you would like to attend the interview. then you should receive a conformation email

Hey guys I need some help in trying to apply but it's a little confusing do I apply directly to the school and then the nursing program is separate or how does it work? Because I'm applying now and it's asking me to pay the $50 but I don't know if the $50 is for the correct thing because in this application it didn't ask me to put my gpa or anything like that

melissah416, the application fee is $50. All you need to do is apply to the nursing program. You do not need to apply to the school first and then to the program. The application does not ask for your GPA, they see your GPA when you submit your transcripts. Once you complete and pay for the application, send out your official transcripts as soon as possible. The application will ask you about some test scores, but you do not have to put them. Putting the test scores will not make you or break you. I hope this helps!

Thank you very much I noticed nursing cas is down to apply until August 25th tho I have to call to see if I can apply now or wait till the site comes back up in a week

Thank you! I couldn't figure it out because they had no available dates but they just put some recently

hey everyone i was wondering if anyone wants to get together and study together for the exam

I have my interview on Sept 6. Anyone else? I wanted to know from people that already got accepted, what were the interview questions like?

Jessmarieb,

I am also interviewing September 6. I just signed up on Friday. Hearing back with such short notice on the interviews sort of sucks but at least we will get it out of the way.

Looking at at other threads I was told that most of the questions were scenarios. They also want you to tell them about yourself.

Please pleaseeee keep us informed of what kind of question they asked and more or less what was the essay about. Thanks

how was the exam? any pointers on what to focus on in science and math section

The questions were exactly what I expected. They asked me to tell them about myself and then they proceeded to ask how I would handle different scenarios. It was very relaxed. There were two people asking me questions and it only lasted about 10 minutes.

The essay is about whatever quote they give you. So they give you a quote and ask you a question about it. I believe the quote given differs from week to week.

The math, English, and writing section were pretty basic and similar to any entrance exam. The science section was the most difficult. The questions were based on the systems of the body so it is hard to tell you exactly what to study for. The best you can do is review all the body systems and hope that you remember the answer to the question. Lol.
