Nova Entry Level BSN Winter 2017

Published

I know some people have already interviewed for Nova's nursing program starting in winter due to the fact that the fall is full... So, I started a new section! Good luck to everyone who has already interviewed and all that are still applying! Keep us updated!!

Hi Cabralie (and everyone else)! I'm planning to wear my scrubs the first day but my lab coat still hasn't come so I'm a bit worried. As for syllabi, I've checked all this week and I can't find any so I assume they'll be given out on the first day.

Looks like syllabi etc. Have all been posted on blackboard this morning.

Yes all the Syllabus is posted on blackboard plus the assignment breakdown. I plan on wearing my scrubs, white shoes and lab coat the first day. P.S don't forget to bring the color pencils the first day of class tomorrow.

Is the entrance exam difficult? how was the interview process?

Vanessa I would like to know if you got accepted with a 3.0 because that is my biggest worry since I am applying with a 3.3

Hey melissah416.

The gpa basically determines if you get an interview. I was granted an interview with a 3.0 gpa, i do not know if because my science gpa is high and that helped. Because they also look at your science gpa, which has to be at least a 2.75. I honestly think you should apply, you really have nothing to lose. Once you get granted an interview, just do well on the test and interview and you should get accepted. I just did my interview this past Tuesday, so I will not know if I got in or not until about 2 weeks to a month. Just like you, I didn't even think I even met the requirements to apply, but I did and made it to the next step! Good luck and let us know if you get an interview :)
