Nova Entry Level BSN Winter 2017

I know some people have already interviewed for Nova's nursing program starting in winter due to the fact that the fall is full... So, I started a new section! Good luck to everyone who has already interviewed and all that are still applying! Keep us updated!!

Sorry for all the questions do you have to apply to nova first and then the nursing program or do you just apply directly into the nursing program ?

Yes you can. I actually applied last semester and got interviewed. Unfortunately I was not accepted. I guess because I did not score well on the Kaplan, the interview went perfect. I also have a 3.00 Overall transfer and it's stated in the website. Go for it. I'm going to re apply mid July. Good luck! Hope to keep in touch with you. PLEASE DON't WASTE YOUR TIME APPLYING THRU NURSING CAS. THERE IS NO NEED. I applied directly with Nova and got called for interview

Are they still doing private interviews or groups? Are they still asking more get to know you questions ? Please keep us updated and remember those been accepted that we were in your position. Any advise will hello. Thanks

Congratulations to all of you that have been accepted so far!!

Nurse2bVenus, the interviews are individual and they ask a few questions which are more like scenarios. One question I got was if I am working at a hospital and see someone with a gun, what would I do? Another one was what would I do if I woke up late the day I have a presentation and can't make it on time.

After you finish applying to the school and doing the nursing cas, do u wait for them to call you for the interview. How would I know that I got accepted to the school.

Iheartkey, they will send you an email to let you know that you made it to the next step, which is the interview. Then you will choose a day to do it. When that day comes, you will have the Kaplan test, an essay, and the individual interview. Depending how you do on the test and interview will determine if you get accepted or not.
