towards the end of last year I offered and sent a whole bunch of allnurses.com members my personal notes that I used to study for the nclex-rn exam.
I no longer have those notes. and I have posted that several times, but I am still getting requests for my notes.
If you do need my notes. I am giving permission to those who I sent my notes to..... to share them with others.
maybe we can start here.
so if you do want my notes, post it here........... and if you do have my notes post them here
and take that one minute to forward your e-mail via pm to help your fellow members.
I believe in helping others. Not just in health care, but in anything.

I would like to say thank you to IamPattyRN for sharing her notes when she really didn't have to. :)Also, everyone learns different ways. Some people learn best by group studying because they see the same information from other people's points of view. Therefore, these notes are more of a help than a hindrance, so the negativity is not needed. :)
If the information seems inaccurate, then asking Patty could help instead of trashing the notes she so kindly supplied to students who could use the help. That way, it is clarified and everyone is happy. :)
So, thanks again, Patty!
You are very welcome!
I do pray for everyone here that everyone deserves to pass and get out there and help people. being a nurse is such a giving career, I cant imagine myself not helping others in every way possible.
I hope my notes really help you just the way that they helped me!
I don't need to use them, as I'm already a nurse. Also, I don't expect others' notes to teach critical thinking, but that was my point! Thank you for pointing that out. My point was, instead of other students actually looking their own information up, understanding it, and processing it into their own notes, they are just someone else's notes for simple memorization of facts. The lemonade question for instance...now when people see lemonade as an answer (will never happen, BTW) they will immediately just think "oh, that's the answer" instead of actually using their OWN critical thinking.
As for being judged-well that's just a part of putting messages out on a public message forum. You can't control the messages or replies. So you will have to get used to that. You can choose to not reply to messages that you don't like though...
I linger here on these boards because I know what it is like to feel overwhelmed with studying. And if I could help someone with just little notes, then so be it.
I just don't appreciate my notes being trashed. out of all the notes that I've sent out to so many people from this forum, not one person has been so critical:up:

I'm sorry, but I don't see in any post where your notes were being 'trashed'.
I had an opinion, I made it, I'm moving on. I'm sorry you were so easily offended.
Carry on...
