Hello,

I decided to make a thread for everyone who's applied to Northwell's April 2022 fellowships. I applied to all of the April 2022 ED fellowships.

Hi everyone. I wanted to give some updates and also ask a question about the interview process for the fellowships. After applying, I heard back from a recruiter (I want to say maybe a week to two weeks later) who set me up with the on-demand video interview. One week later, I got the call from that hospital's unit to schedule an in-person interview.

I don't go in for that interview for another week, but I was curious, for anyone who has applied to the Northwell fellowship and then was offered the job, was the in-person interview process a series, or were you offered the position after only one in-person interview? If so, how long after that interview were you offered the position?

Thanks in advance and good luck to everyone!

Congrats!! That’s great. There was only one in-person interview, but there were several people interviewing me (about 5). I got a call the next day from the recruiter asking me for my references online, and then a week after that I got the offer

Specializes in PICU.

Just wanted to update I also heard back today from the NYC Oncology fellowship and was invited to do the On-Demand Video Interview

@mrg-BSN-RN

Congrats! I hope your interview goes well and you’ll get an offer.

May I ask which hospital and fellowship you heard back from?

Is this for Critical Care? I got the on on demand video of critical care but I did not hear anything back. I'm not sure if I should email the recruiter.

Hello All!

I applied for both the ED Fellowship at LIJ and the Perioperative fellowship at Lenox Hill! I lowkey wanted ED, but I got called and set up an interview for the OR. Either way I’m excited to start, what’s for me will be for me! I have my final interview Friday, but I joined this forum anyway. The process was an online interview and the final step is in person.
Wishing you all much success on your fellowships!

Congrats! I am very happy for you. I hope your interview goes well!

Thank you for your insight.

I applied the the ED Fellowship last week. Today I recieved a call from a recruiter and a quick screening, and then she sent the invitation. I'll keep you posted. I'm a new grad BSN. I also had 2 semesters of clinical at Northwell LIJ. I was told this is for the ED at LIJ/Valley Stream, but I did apply to New Hyde Park and Manhassat as well.

I recieved a live virtual interview a day after completing the 1st virtual interview. Haven't heard back from the other fellowships yet.

I got in an person interview for ED at LIJ, has anyone gone in for an interview yet? Can you let me know how it is?

Hey, I'd like to hear how your interview went and if you got the job! I also want to ask what the salary is if that's alright. I have another job offer and I don't know what salary I should be aiming for at this point.

I didn't have my interview yet, but it is next week. I'll be interviewing with a panel virtually for a different northwell site.

Not sure of salary, but it would great if people started posting. New Grad for NYU us 104k + 6k differential. I would really love to know Northwell's.

Hello all!

I accepted a position for north shore ED this week. So excited!! Anyone else on here starting in April for the emergency fellowship?
