Northwell Health 2018 Fellowship

Does anyone know when in October the Critical Care Fellowship is starting at Lenox Hill? Or at least when they're interviewing? They posted the job in late August and I applied then (8/27). I just saw they re-posted it a few days ago...but I haven't heard back regarding my original app. My submission still says "application received" & it's been like that for a month. October is just a few days away!

I was wondering the same thing since I pretty much applied to all the critical care fellowships! My application also says received but I am wondering if the reason I never got a call back is because I don't have my license? I graduated late August and am scheduled to take NCLEX second week October but I don't know.

I applied for both the critical care and ED fellowships when they first posted it and mine still says application received as well. I'm hoping that they're just moving slow with calling people for interviews but then again it is october 1 so not looking too good for us

Yeah, it's very discouraging. I hope we hear back soon, even if it's a denial so we can move on with our lives. Good luck on your NCLEX @thecareerchanger!

Is there another fellowship for nurses?

they have critical care, ED, pediatrics and periop. But they only offer them at certain times in the year

Thanks genesis1930! Cookiexoxo there were also a couple of oncology fellowships (which I also applied to) but for some reason those aren't posted on the website. I really wanted critical care but if its not happening especially since it's already October I am just going to apply elsewhere once I pass NCLEX (God wiling!)

has anyone heard back or gotten any calls for interviews? I basically lost hope since its already October 10. I tried emailing the fellowship director but have heard nothing back.

I've heard absolutely nothing. At this point I gave up with Northwell Health, I've submitted other apps and they've also been on "submitted" for a month

I have heard nothing and some of my applications even state "no longer accepting applications" so I figure it's a wrap. I am going to apply to other positions at Northwell (med/surg) and other hospitals that may take new RNs.

Same here. It seems northwell health is hard to get into if you don't know anyone that actually works at those hospitals. I would try catholic health services! I'm being considered for a position at one of the hospitals pending me passing the pharm exam. They seem to hire a lot of new grads!
