Hi everyone, starting a forum to discuss updates about the hiring process for Northwell's August 2023 Fellowships. Just applied last week to NSUH and LIJ, haven't heard anything yet.

Very exciting! When is your interview for? I am hoping to get a call for a different ICU, but I haven't received a call yet for the next interview after the video.

yup that's the one, I didn't look on the page personally because I got the contact from a friend but if the number is there then I'd reccomend calling.. my friend called her today and she sent the video link at the same time

I heard there's a high turnover rate at the cticu at manhasset, I'm kinda glad it's for MICU I feel like it will be well rounded but I have no complaints so far.. they only gave me 2 dates to choose from and it's in the first week of may

thanks! keep us updated and if she doesn't reply in a timely manner I'd highly recommend calling, she's nice and gets busy sometimes

I don't think you need to worry yet, it's still early and they probably do them based on specialty/location. 

 

My application was to South Shore ER

she sent my video link pretty early on because I was reaching out to her first, I think I completed it in the second week of April and I just got the email for the in person interview today.. it might take sooner for others because when I followed up after the video interview a few weeks ago she told me they're only just getting started for august and it might take a while. looks like they're finally getting started

a few posts back I listed all the questions they ask in the video interview, the last question was why this fellowship and what makes you a good candidate. hope this helps!
