Northwell August 2023 Fellowships

Hi everyone, starting a forum to discuss updates about the hiring process for Northwell's August 2023 Fellowships. Just applied last week to NSUH and LIJ, haven't heard anything yet.

Has anyone heard back from an August posting yet?? They move so slow its killing me!! The applications were posted in February and are being reposted but my application still says received

Yesterday I got a call about the Cohen's PICU fellowship, and I was asked to submit a video interview! My application status also says "under consideration" now.

Congrats! Did you ever reach out to a recruiter? I applied for Critical care and have not heard anything and my status has not changed

Nope, I never reached out to anyone, I've just been waiting LOL. I'm sure every fellowship is on a slightly different schedule though?

Oh yeah.. probably. Do you know if you are able to apply to more than one fellowship with Northwell?

You definitely should be able to. I only applied to the PICU one, but they're all completely separate applications.

They finally called me today! The phone call was super brief, she just asked why this specialty and explained the fellowship to me. She sent the link for the on demand video and I have a few days to start/complete it

congrats! I think they're starting to get things moving now, my friend also got a video link today, I got an email for the in person interview for MICU.. super nervous if anyone has tips for MICU interview please let me know!

What location are these for? I applied to the Critical Care one at Lenox Hill and have not heard anything. I am getting worried

I applied for the critical care at manhasset so did my classmate.. I think it's one recruiter for the northwell fellowships try to Google her and you'll find her info on linkedin, give her a call and email she's really nice.

Are her email and number listed on Linkedin or should I connect with her on linkedin personally. And are initials E.L.?

yup that's the one, I didn't look on the page personally because I got the contact from a friend but if the number is there then I'd reccomend calling.. my friend called her today and she sent the video link at the same time
