Hello everyone,

I wanted to start a post for the Fall 2016 Traditional Nursing Applicants. There was one listed as Nvcc but it's hard to find and did not get that many views. I'm in the process of applying now and the applications are due May 21st. According to the online orientation decisions should be mailed out 2-3 weeks after the deadline so around the 1st week of June.

I'm very excited about starting school again in August. This is my backup school. I was waitlisted for UMSON and there is a possibility I will be again.

If you are a current student please feel free to share some of your experience in the program, advice or tips. Thanks!

I applied for this application period as well! Tip: Take the TEAS in advance so you won't be rushing your application last minute! What did you score on the exam?

Please let me know if you got in! If so, what was your cumulative GPA and TEAS scores? I'm applying for the spring 2017 semester. Everyone is saying that it is crazy hard to get accepted into the ADN program at NOVA.

Hi jmg76557, I'm also really anxious to to hear my application status. I've been checking my email like crazy each day, I thought I would have at least received an email saying they've received my application by now. Have you? My GPA is pretty high, and on TEAS I scored pretty okay in english and reading, but low in math, because I ran out of time and guessed a lot of the questions towards the end. But I'm hoping that wont ruin my chances. I'm DYING to hear anything!!

I received my acceptance first week of June. If you meet the requirements, you will get in.

How 3.7 English teas in the 90s but math I just barely passed

Do you know how long it took after the application period ended for you to receive the email regarding your application being processed when you applied?
