I wanted to start a post for the Fall 2016 Traditional Nursing Applicants. There was one listed as Nvcc but it's hard to find and did not get that many views. I'm in the process of applying now and the applications are due May 21st. According to the online orientation decisions should be mailed out 2-3 weeks after the deadline so around the 1st week of June.
I'm very excited about starting school again in August. This is my backup school. I was waitlisted for UMSON and there is a possibility I will be again.

Hi again, pigginsrn! Another quick question for you - do you recall how many applicants were accepted during the year you applied? Completely understandable if you don't remember, but I'm seeing that for this year they've received nearly 400 applicants (Traditional and LPN-RN tracks combined), which is kind of intimidating as to their decision of the maximum amount of people they will be accepting.
I read that on their Facebook page too about all the applicants. It does intimidate me to think about the competition. My gpa is high but just so so on the TEAS. Also I still have yet to receive the email that my application is being processed. I really hope they send it out by Friday
Did anyone on here who didn't receive an email last week receive one today? I just read on the MEC page that they sent out 99% of the nursing emails today regarding if our application is being processed. And I still haven't gotten one. I know they said they still have a small portion they are sending out tomorrow and freaking MONDAY but I'm still really worried now. I really hope they send it tomorrow it's killing me

Hi! None of us have heard back as of yet since the nursing department has started processing applications as of this week. According to the MEC Facebook page, we should be receiving a response within the next two weeks. You should engage in the other thread, as that one is more active than this one! I have linked it below.
