I took the English prerequisite and both CST and Humanities general elective courses at another university, with all A's, but will show up as a "T" on my transcript. How can I be competitive if ranking is based on grades? Would my chances of acceptance be greater if I took these courses at NOVA for an actual letter grade?
Bio 141 and PSY 230 are the only two glades that count in the ranking! So you’re fine, plus if they did count in the ranking they would just look at your transcripts!

My PSY 230 grade shows as a T on my transcript because it was transferred as a course from my first bachelor's degree. How does that get ranked in the application process since it does not explicitly state that I got an A in the course?
They’ll look at your transcripts from that school.

The application team will look at your original grade. So if you took PSY 123123 at your old school and earned a B- and transferred it to NOVA as PSY 230. you would be marked as having earned a C. Our blog FAQ goes into more detail, https://blogs.nvcc.edu/mecexchange/faq/#_Toc521950140

Our application team would access your original transcript to find the grade if needed our blog post goes into more detail https://blogs.nvcc.edu/mecexchange/faq/#_Toc521950140.
