I'm starting this thread as a 'buddy group' since there are a few NECC students and grads here. It would be nice to be able to share information and help each other out!

Not sure if this belongs in the MA or student forums, so please move if needed. It will be much easier to resurrect in the MA forum, and there seem to be lots of school postings there, so that's why I chose it.

Great news - we DO NOT have to take Chemistry if we are on the waitlist! I just spoke to someone ( by the way...so helpful) who said we're grandfathered in!

Waiting for a call back from I think she's the assistant dean to see about that meeting...will keep you guys posted!

HI,

I haven't signed up for any classes yet. Actually, I don't even have anything to take until the actual nursing classes start, but I may take something like Conversational Medical Spanish or American Sign Language just to take something and keep me busy.

Are you CPR certified yet? I let my certification lapse (yikes) so I need to find a way to take a course soon. I know the school offered a one-day cert. but I don't really have any information on it. Do you know anything about it?

Hope the rest of your summer is great and that we both get pulled up :)

Does anyone have any information about the pharmacology math test at NECC? How many questions, what passing is, when is it given, etc. Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance. :confused:

I just popped in to see what was happening here...i'd posted a long while back....I'll be starting ADN program at NECC on Sept 9 this year, just over a week away. I'll be back to post any info I find out that may help those applying for next year, etc. Good luck to everyone...just a little tidbit of info...my books were about $800. Yikes. Any questions, let me know.
