I'm starting this thread as a 'buddy group' since there are a few NECC students and grads here. It would be nice to be able to share information and help each other out!

Not sure if this belongs in the MA or student forums, so please move if needed. It will be much easier to resurrect in the MA forum, and there seem to be lots of school postings there, so that's why I chose it.

I would speak with the woman that was on your letter for enrollment. I forget her name off the top of my head. If you go to NECC you can punch in her name in the directory and pull up her #. She is very nice and helpful. I am not positive they will tell you, but hey it is worth asking. I do not see why they would not though. I have to go to work, but I will look it up if you can not find it in the morning.....

I am sure someone can tell us where we are on the waitlist. I don't think many people will drop out or not go. Of course to be called up would be great!!:)

please do not give out personal information about others. do not name names where anyone could identify the person in any facility including your nursing programs.

Has anyone called to see where they are on the waitlist? I have not yet. I keep thinking maybe I will get a call:)

I rather feel hopeful than call and see im like the last person on the list lol :p So I am just going to wait for a call or letter and hopeeee

Yeah I know what you mean. I am trying to keep myself busy. I am still hoping to get a call. Do you know anyone else on the waitlist? I don't.

Hey I was wondering if I didn't take classes next year,(fall and spring 09',10') because i'm almost done all of the classes other than nursing ones, would I still be able to do nursing the following year(fall 2010) because im on the waitlist or would I have to keep my student status and take classes this coming fall,spring to be accepted for fall 10'? Hope someone knows! thanks-Susan

I don't think it matters if you take classes in 09 or 10. We have a spot no matter what. I believe. I have one more class to take. I might take it this summer just in case I get called:) I will try and work more to keep myself busy..

i just got my acceptance letter to NECC and it my guidance councilor at school told me there could be a wait for the nursing program.. but mine says i was accepted to "Northern Essex Community College in the Gen Studies: Nursing program for the Fall Term 2009." This means I am not on any sort of wait list and that I start off in the Nursing program right?

anyone who knows about this please reply!!!! :)
