Northeastern Hybrid Direct Entry Nursing Spring 2014

Hi All,

I just received news that I have been accepted into Northeastern's Direct Entry online accelerated nursing program. I am wondering if anyone else is also in the spring 2014 cohort? Just thought I would get a thread going to communicate details such as living arrangements, loans, what to expect etc.

Well guys, after all the negative reviews and undecidedness, I've decided to take the plunge anyways and make the best of it. I'm officially registered for this fall! Whos with me?

My counselor called to say that, after over two weeks, they finally scanned my transcripts!!! She said that I should hear about their decision in two weeks, since they are still busy trying to deal with may admissions.

Faith2014: I just received a call as well. She said they needed a course description before the could make a decision! I would have loved to know they needed that 3 weeks ago lol... So we'll see how this goes

Eburgmeier: I know!!! I hope they won't make me wait 2 weeks to tell me that they also need a course description!!! She said they are busy still trying to take care of may admissions. You applied for the fall, right? Did they tell you when they will give you an answer?

No longer waiting. I got the news that I have been accepted! :-)

I am just waiting on the decision from another school, which is actually my priority.

My advisor called me to say the decision was made and I needed to check my application. So, at the bottom there was a link that I clicked on and took me to the acceptance letter!!! Call them and ask how long it's gonna take for them to give you a decision.

I really want all of us to be in the same study group. We've been talking for a while and it feels like we are a group already! :-)

Faith2014: Absolutely, I am glad I already know a few people who might be in the cohort! Makes me feel a lot better :) We will have to make some sort of facebook group or something once there are more people
