Northeastern Direct Entry 2018

Hi everyone! I have found threads for all of the direct entry programs that I am applying to except for Northeastern, so I wanted to get one started! I have received an email stating that my application has been received, but so far that is all I have heard. I'm looking forward to talking to some of you! I am finishing up my undergraduate degree with a major in health sciences and my undergraduate GPA is a 3.95. My GRE scores are decent, but I have limited experience in the field, short of some volunteering, so I am afraid that will hurt me. I would love to hear your stats and experiences!

I applied to FNP and still haven't heard anything..

I even emailed them last Friday but no response.

Anybody hear back from the PNP primacy care track?? I had my interview two weeks ago and I'm anxiously waiting for a decision!

Almost a month! It was over the holidays as well though so that might factor in. From my personal experience, my interviewer was really upfront with me and told me that they had a lot of admissions details to smooth out and every year they're trying to make it a more effective process. She mentioned that if I was deciding between another school and Northeastern and I hadn't heard from her and needed to know I could call her.. not sure if this is the same for all specialties but for the Acute Care she was really helpful and friendly

Gotcha! Thanks for the feedback--I applied for Acute Care too and my interviewer said it was usually 2-3 weeks after interviewing, but I wasn't sure if that was accurate. I only interviewed a week ago today, so I still have some time to try to distract myself through....Did they also tell you about Financial aid at the same time?

unfortunately no.. I asked about it and the woman calling (who was different than my interviewer) said that would come out at a later date but to make sure that I had filled out my FAFSA for them
