Hi everyone! I have found threads for all of the direct entry programs that I am applying to except for Northeastern, so I wanted to get one started! I have received an email stating that my application has been received, but so far that is all I have heard. I'm looking forward to talking to some of you! I am finishing up my undergraduate degree with a major in health sciences and my undergraduate GPA is a 3.95. My GRE scores are decent, but I have limited experience in the field, short of some volunteering, so I am afraid that will hurt me. I would love to hear your stats and experiences!

Hey Mel i also applied and got the same email. I graduated from UCSD with major in physio and neuroscience with 3.1 gpa and around 3.6 in prereq. Been a CNA for 2 years, have volunteered on cardiology unit for around 100 hours, been a part of an organization that provides free clinics in mexico for 2 years, male, bilingual, and i applied for the family np track.

Hi! I also applied to Northeastern's Direct Entry program and am eager to hear back :) Has anyone received any interview invites yet? Just wondering when they'll be sending those out.

Hi! I actually just had an interview today! I applied for the Adult Acute Care and I think each specialty is pretty separate so there may be differences in timing for interview releases. They emailed me on Saturday which was kind of odd!
Congrats on your interview, czp3! How did it go and did you have an overall favorable experience? I applied for the FNP specialty.
Thank you! I think it went pretty well! It was great learning more about the program because I feel like the info. online is confusing and lacking in some areas so it was really helpful to learn more about the program. It was pretty quiet since all the students are essentially gone for the semester and the SON office was basically empty so it was just like having a little meeting. The interviewer was super nice and informative so that made things really great too.
I applied for the FNP specialty as well! Does anyone know if they interview everyone they admit?

Hi czp3! Good for you and good luck! I also applied for the same concentration. I finished submitting my transcripts right on the deadline so I assume it'll be a while till I hear back about my app. When did you submit everything?
Hi estefpf! Thank you! Yes-it's definitely rolling that's what my interviewer told me and the decisions about interviews are rolling as well. So as hard as it is I definitely would try to be patient and have high hopes! I submitted my application on 10/10 but it took the school until 11/21 to match one of my transcripts to my file so application was incomplete until then. Was your application complete on 12/1?
I didn't know it was rolling. The website didn't say but oh well, what is meant to be will be and that's how I keep my nerves calm lol. Technically yes I submitted my last remaining transcripts on the morning of 12/01 and I emailed them saying that I did cause they're slow with updating our app portals but they didn't end up marking me as complete until 12/06. Which is surprising but as long as I have proof that I got everything in by 12/1 that's what matters.
