Hi everyone! I have found threads for all of the direct entry programs that I am applying to except for Northeastern, so I wanted to get one started! I have received an email stating that my application has been received, but so far that is all I have heard. I'm looking forward to talking to some of you! I am finishing up my undergraduate degree with a major in health sciences and my undergraduate GPA is a 3.95. My GRE scores are decent, but I have limited experience in the field, short of some volunteering, so I am afraid that will hurt me. I would love to hear your stats and experiences!
The person I interviewed with's title was "visiting clinical instructor" so that kind of makes me wonder if she doesn't know much about the program and was simply misinformed.
The ACNP Track Director responded to my email saying that once you are accepted into the DE program you are in it for both the BSN and the MSN specialty you chose.
Do you know of anyone else applying to the program? You're the only one I've seen that is also applying neonatal. What other schools sis you apply to?
I haven't seen anyone else on the thread mention that they applied to the neonatal track. I think it's just us two for now.
I only applied to Northeastern and MGH (Women's Health). I'm in between both tracks so ultimately wherever I get in will decide my fate.
You?

I am not aware of anyone else either. I also only applied to MGH but for pediatric because they did not have neonatal. It's difficult to find programs with our specialty! Fingers crossed we get in to at least one!!

I know, right? I didn't find many options in Massachusetts for the neonatal track either. Hopefully all goes well and we get in! Fingers crossed!
I'll keep you posted! :)

Really??... The person I spoke with during my interview said you did not have to reapply for admission for the masters portion. That's really odd and confusing that people are getting different answers. I applied to PNP
