Members are discussing accreditation for nursing programs, specifically in California. Some members are sharing information about RN-to-BSN programs that accept graduates from non-accredited ASN programs. There is also discussion about the process of obtaining RN licenses in California and transferring from out-of-state programs. Additionally, members are forming support groups and seeking information about class schedules and program outcomes, such as passing the NCLEX exam.
I'm looking for opinions of anyone who has attended, currently attends, or has been accepted to the online LPN to RN program at North Palm College of Nursing.
What are the online lectures like? Are there live or recorded video lectures? It's my understanding clinical are local to the college. How often do you attend clinicals? Can you please share any pros and cons about the program?
pineapples303 said:@Zx6QueenLPNYes I know but it's a lot of schools with bad reps but definitely know what you're saying. I want to ask (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME- PLEASE DO NOT POST IDENTIFYING INFO ABOUT OTHERS) when is the class taking their NCLEX
I saw your quote that said they graduated in Jan of 2025 right my sister said they should be ready to take NCLEX if some havent already I know Felisha also told me that their is a HESI exit exam. My LPN school we used ATI so we took the predictor twice close to the end and we took it the last day of class my whole class passed stopping at 80 questions. on our first try at NCLEX I just graduated on July 16 a tues and sat for my boards that following Friday One class mate stopped at 75 but she was honor roll we took next gen so 15 questions don't count
@Zx6QueenLPN Oh I didn't know that there was a HESI exam. Yes I heard that the first clsss graduated Jan 2025
that's excellent that you passed in your classmates

I am from California and I would love to know if someone from California have the answer. I finished admission application with north palm and hoping to start in June 2025.
Pamprdprincess said:I applied to the school in January. I spoke with someone today. Someone is supposed to contact me via email this week to explain the program further. The school is approved by the FL Board on Nursing. Yes, it is less than 2 years old. I was told you come in person for the last 2 weeks of the program and attend clinicals. The representative told me hotel and transportation to clinicals are included in the tuition. I live out - of- state so I guess that is a good thing. This program seems too good to be true. I am applying for the LPN to RN Bridge program. I cannot image completing the program in 9 months. Are there any other LPNs applying?
Tutoring is also included in the tuition.
I am in the process of applying for financial aid right now. I should be starting I. Summer semester June 2nd.
