North Palm College of Nursing - LPN to RN Online

Updated:   Published

What Members Are Saying (AI-Generated Summary)

Members are discussing accreditation for nursing programs, specifically in California. Some members are sharing information about RN-to-BSN programs that accept graduates from non-accredited ASN programs. There is also discussion about the process of obtaining RN licenses in California and transferring from out-of-state programs. Additionally, members are forming support groups and seeking information about class schedules and program outcomes, such as passing the NCLEX exam.

I'm looking for opinions of anyone who has attended, currently attends, or has been accepted to the online LPN to RN program at North Palm College of Nursing.

What are the online lectures like? Are there live or recorded video lectures? It's my understanding clinical are local to the college. How often do you attend clinicals? Can you please share any pros and cons about the program?

Hello everyone,

I wanted to give you guys some insight into North Palm College in FL.

I applied to the college last year but had some family issues that came up. I re-applied last month and I'm starting in June 2025. I also applied for the the NURSE loan program and was approved for 97% the loan, so my out of pocket is $2500, which is doable for me. At first, I was skeptical that they didn't have an actual building for the college.  Well, my job sent me to Orlando to work for several days in January 2025 and I was able to go and lay eyes on it. It is in a shopping center and I think the inside of the college is nice. I hope this helps!

What ever you do . Run from Riggs College. After attending the school , we noticed  Riggs lied about there passing NCLEX rates and they are placed on probation. So, it would be a risk for anyone to attend the school. It's up to anyone to do what they desire because I was all for Riggs College (because of the tuition) after I've learned about the details about they was placed on probation. I've changed my mind and contact North Palm . If you don't believe me, you can call them because they must disclose that and you will also find that with the board of nursing ... If you read any of my threads from few months earlier. I had an horrible experience with Riggs College. Yes, anyone will be better off with North Palm College. I was accepted into the program. Plus, 3 of my friends are current students there and have nothing but great feedback. Im just confused about the deposit on down payment but I will start for June cohort....

@blackbeautymob Thank you for the updated information. Were you able to go inside the school and take a tour or did you just take a peek inside the building and windows? Glad to hear that you were able to verify that it's an actual building.
