North Palm College of Nursing - LPN to RN Online

Updated:   Published

What Members Are Saying (AI-Generated Summary)

Members are discussing accreditation for nursing programs, specifically in California. Some members are sharing information about RN-to-BSN programs that accept graduates from non-accredited ASN programs. There is also discussion about the process of obtaining RN licenses in California and transferring from out-of-state programs. Additionally, members are forming support groups and seeking information about class schedules and program outcomes, such as passing the NCLEX exam.

I'm looking for opinions of anyone who has attended, currently attends, or has been accepted to the online LPN to RN program at North Palm College of Nursing.

What are the online lectures like? Are there live or recorded video lectures? It's my understanding clinical are local to the college. How often do you attend clinicals? Can you please share any pros and cons about the program?

Why alot of people complaining about it? It seems like Riggs is accredited than north palm

So when I was there, I did get to tour the college. The Nurse Loan Program is indeed a loan. If you have bad credit, then you will have to end up paying out of pocket(they offer monthly payments). They check your Transunion score as well.

Did you start the program ?

This is my experience with North Palm till today.

Filled out the on line form, was sent an email to request an appointment.  That request went unanswered for two weeks. I called the number they told me to make another appointment online. I did that, the scheduled appointment was missed, another two weeks until that 10 minute conversation. Then the admissions call, that appointment was missed as well, then today the advisor appointment was missed then rescheduled for tomorrow without my input so tomorrow I have to reschedule my day.  This will be the last chance.  I'm supposed to start June 2, and it's becoming overly complicated.

Am yet to pay my down payment on Friday. Have you paid yours? Have you been able to have meeting with your advisor? Can you verify from your friend if the school will still be paying for the flight ticket and the hotel fees for the clinicals?

Let me know how it goes. I decided to go on September cohort because I cant afford for now
