North Palm College of Nursing - LPN to RN Online

Updated:   Published

What Members Are Saying (AI-Generated Summary)

Members are discussing accreditation for nursing programs, specifically in California. Some members are sharing information about RN-to-BSN programs that accept graduates from non-accredited ASN programs. There is also discussion about the process of obtaining RN licenses in California and transferring from out-of-state programs. Additionally, members are forming support groups and seeking information about class schedules and program outcomes, such as passing the NCLEX exam.

I'm looking for opinions of anyone who has attended, currently attends, or has been accepted to the online LPN to RN program at North Palm College of Nursing.

What are the online lectures like? Are there live or recorded video lectures? It's my understanding clinical are local to the college. How often do you attend clinicals? Can you please share any pros and cons about the program?

@Zx6QueenLPN Yes that's what they told me ACCSC not ACEN. But perhaps they are trying to get the AcCSC first then the others will follow. Just weird that people are bashing a school when they don't attend and don't have to. I personally wouldn't care about a school that I'm not interested in.

@Glacey In the process means undergoing a series of steps to become accredited.

@pineapples303

At this point, I'm stepping away from the discussion—I wish you and anyone considering the program the very best moving forward. Take care and good luck..

Just to clarify, I didn't misread anything. North Palm did say they're in the process of accreditation with both ACCSC and ACEN—I've attached the screenshot from their official Facebook post for reference.

She thought she was telling us I saw the fb post and I just applied to it (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME- PLEASE DO NOT POST IDENTIFYING INFO ABOUT OTHERS) the rep also told me they are trying to get ACEN because they are going to need it to implement a BSN program because without ACEn all the LPN-RN students may or maynot have a hard time transfering in after finishing at NPC.

Besides I understand she felt she was giving us info but it was still kind of putting down and bashing a school you have not applied to or spoke to not knowing if current students are in this forum now they got that on their brain vs being focused if it is some current North Palm students don't read this LOL You in their now babay get it done and make us PROUD! 75% is passing and C's get degrees my lil sister is a NP and she will tell u She may not be the captain but she on the boat LOL

@Zx6QueenLPN Ohh really okay that's good news. I'm sure they're working hard to get things in order, since they are new it takes time but I think they are moving in the right direction.

@Zx6QueenLPN Congratulations to your sis and I heard that, them C's do get degrees and a license to practice LOL. I'm happy (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME- PLEASE DO NOT POST IDENTIFYING INFO ABOUT OTHERS) gave you some new information because I didn't know they were considering a BSN program that's so awesome 👏

Well when I spoke to (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME- PLEASE DO NOT POST IDENTIFYING INFO ABOUT OTHERS) was her name I was asking about accreditation and if they had dual enrollment with any online BSn schools and that when she told me that their going to implement a BSn program. Im going to try to come down and shadow a Lab day with a class and she looking into that and she stated they are putting out fires because of the bad press Fla has been getting with the RN schools

I asked mad questions OK I have family in fla as well so Im willing to do this short term sacrifice for the long-haul goal but I am very nervous cause these schools out here be real disrespectful and its a shame it should be jail time for doing nurses like that
