Congrats to all of us that were accepted to the nursing program at either campus for Fall '06!!!!

I'm going to be at the NLC campus! See you in June for orientation!
Also, congrats for making it to the next semester to all new 2nd - 4th semester NLC/ECC student nurses & congrats to the graduates! :balloons:
Good luck to everyone!
Our clinical group had to go to the VA for fingerprinting this afternoon. We didn't know about it until this morning!
Poor clinical instructor didn't know about it until this AM either. She was in skills lab when she found out.
We all made it though....Thank goodness!!!
I'm so excited about going to orientation on Thursday! :balloons:
Tomorrow is test 2....STILL not ready for it. ...So much info...not enough time...too many check-offs. hahahaha
OK....just got back from the VA, had to go straight to pick up my 15 y.o. from school, now the 9 y.o. is getting off the bus. Back to studying after that!!!!!!
Is this weekend "the weekend" of all weekends? (At least for this semester....lol)
Good luck to all applicants! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, never give up!!! Even if you have to reapply, keep applying! I really feel like I was meant to start this semester, and not last. There's a reason for everything.
If you are suppose to start this semester, IT WILL HAPPEN!
If you get your letters Sat, then I won't find out until later that afternoon. My 15 y.o. and I are doing Habitat for Humanity, along with most of my clinical group for our community volunteering hours required by the school. I signed my daughter up because she needs it for her future college application. (She's a sophomore!)
Other than that, I'd really like to volunteer with other stuff. I'm thinking about doing some volunteer hours with one of my clinical group members who can't do the Hab. for Hum. project.
:)
OK....back to the books!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm back.
I made an 82. (That's a C in the nursing world.)
So, I have an 85 lecture average. Good....but I really need to get it up so I have more of a leeway for the final!
I have to admit, I felt relieved to see that I only missed 9. Although, some of the questions were absolutely ridiculous, I'm glad I didn't mess it up too bad.
Good luck to those testing Friday!!! :)
I have hospital orientation tomorrow!
Time to read for test 3!!
