Good luck to everyone!
Well guys, I finally can tell you all: I passed.:w00t: I took the test Monday and I thought I failed , because, even though I got a lot of priority questions, infection control and SATA's, I also got a lot of simple nursing application questions, that seemed very easy to me.
I have read on many threads here on the NCLEX forum , that if you get a lot of easy questions, you probably didn't do so well. So I freaked out, I thought for sure, that I must have been an idiot. I could not tell the pattern that they were talking about either, were you supposed to get harder and harder questions. Don't get me wrong, I definitely got some really hard questions in there, were I felt I played the guessing game.
I studied so much for this test, I read the Saunders book, cover to cover and did all the questions on the CD. I think, I just was so tired of NCLEX questions. After about question number 50, I was so numb, I felt like I was on autopilot and was hoping it would shut of at 75 (which it did, thank God). I was already sure I had failed. What a relief, my name is not on BNE yet. I had to pay the $7.95, I couldn't wait any longer. I had to wait all day for intern class to be over to be able to go home and finally check.
One of my internship classmates on my unit did not pass by the way. She went to UTA. I think we can be glad to have went to ECC.
Thank you God, all glory to You!!!!!
Does anyone have the Nursing Today - Transition and Trends Fifth Edition book to sell? It was not included in our book box that cost $340! GRRRRThanks,
Yang
If that is the same one for the management class, then don't bother buying it. Just get your access code. I did not even crack the book the whole semester and got an "A". It was a waste of money. I wish I had known. Everything you need is on the website after you have the access code.
The online modules basically review the book material. Just be sure to "post" as she requires and do the assignments. To me it was just busy work and filling an extra 2 hours in the curriculum! The only helpful info regarding the BNE and what was needed. It is not as detailed as it seems.....but FYI....if you have a positive background check ( meaning you have been arrested or something like that in the past) it will take you alot of red tape to get through the process!
