Good luck to everyone!
ok....questions for 4th semester....
No careplans at all, not even psych careplans?
No picking pts before at all?
With a preceptor, you make your own schedule according to your preceptors schedule?
How many pts do you start out mainly? (I know different instructors vary.)
How many pts do you finish the semester with?
Never, never, never are you allowed to do an IV push?
As far as paying the testing fees, etc for Pearson Vue, the BON, etc, when do you pay those...about a month after the semester starts?
What were y'all's hardest concepts to grasp? Anything in particular you had a hard time with and recommend us to focus on now?
Do y'all have a list of values we should make sure we know? (I've started a powerpoint quiz, and would like to finish it up and post it!) :)
Ok....that's all I can think about right now.
no careplans at all, not even psych careplans? big psych and big ms careplan but no weekly (for my clinical group.)
no picking pts before at all? no, you pick rn for the day.
with a preceptor, you make your own schedule according to your preceptors schedule? yes, flexible schedule but you are on one floor only.
how many pts do you start out mainly? (i know different instructors vary.) 3-4 ms, only observe in icu, some activities in er. (for my clinical group)
how many pts do you finish the semester with? it depends on the unit.
never, never, never are you allowed to do an iv push? never, ever.

what were y'all's hardest concepts to grasp? anything in particular you had a hard time with and recommend us to focus on now? advanced lecture (for me), respiratory-cardio-gi stuff needed for icu.
