Congrats to all of us that were accepted to the nursing program at either campus for Fall '06!!!!

Ok, so have you started reading your med-surg book? 3. semester tests were hard so before each unit test I read the chapters 2 or 3 times. Although I had a classmate who hardly ever read the text. She only practiced NCLEX questions and got A. ;)

Yes, did it by myself. ....Got bored, when my lil' one and her cousins decided they wanted to stay up late. So, I stayed up too...

I've read a little bit. I think I'm going to read and take notes. (Or copy and paste...lol)

The main thing I want is the CDs....that's about the only thing I used last semester. I do all of my reading from my laptop - my laptop is what I live by practically. I have one ruptured disk and 6 bulging and I cannot haul around those books. I save my back for the work of clinicals. Thank you though. My first semester book box is sitting there exactly as I got it less the disks...which irks me, but that's the only way to get them. Thanks for all of your suggestions. I'd love to have any notes or anything that you guys have that I could read over too.

Hello all....

Well I have survived 2 weeks on a motorcycle riding around Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, and the Rocky Mountains. Got rained on several days, out ran a tornado in Colorado Springs (not very smart), got snowed on 1 day and had 110 degree days on others. AND....I have not gotten sick yet! It was stressful at times. Don't know if anyone has ever been around the mountains, but apparently you cannot go straight up the side...LOL. Many, many, many hairpin U-turn type curves. And the oxygen level at 12,500 feet is NOT pleasant. My nails did start to turn blue.....what was that word....HYPOXIC?

Saturday, July 7, we leave for our cruise in the Caribbean. Of course there is nothing but rain for days ahead...but I am looking forward to relaxing.
