I will be graduating from queens university accelerated BSN program and I was wondering what is the starting hourly pay.

The residency I applied to in Greenville is $21/hr. I'm willing to take a vow of poverty to get my coveted experience.

Well that's better than the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio they start at $18 hr for their residency program for new grads !!!!!! I can't believe it !!! I'm saving that application for last lol !! Talk about poverty !

But a new grad in Ohio with a BSN will start off between $24-26/ hr in a hospital .

I guess it's a sacrifice in order to get experience :***:

Specializes in Acute Care, Adults, Telemetry, Stepdown, SNF.

Yes but for the Clinic $18.19 is the hourly rate for your 10 weeks of orientation for the nurse residency and then your pay increases to the new grad rate of $ 24.74 hourly.

Graduating from an accelerated BSN program, you make the same as a traditional BSN program. It all depends on the agency, hospital, and especially the state. I know a lot of new grads that definitely make more than $35 an hour. I even know a few new grads, who by the grace of God, got full time jobs with yearly starting rates ranging from high 70,000s to low 90,000 with night and weekend differential - this is with no experience may I add. But this career is all about who you know and timing of open position in hospitals. Good luck to you on your endeavors though!
