Hie you all
I have been applying for jobs in AZ and TX and so far evryone is saying that they are not recruiting due to the retrogression. and to be honest I'm kinda stressing coz I thought once I get the NCLEX out of the way then I will get a firm offer and then sit and wait for retro to lift. BUT I guess I was wrong.
Any suggestions?
Has anyone got any recruiters to PM me who are doing things coz all Im getting is we are considering your application then I hear the word "Retrogression".
I'm just getting vexed by this now.
Just needed to vent. I really don't wanna go agency coz I have come this far by faith but I just sad...

Have sent you a PM, but I do think retrogression is putting a few off until they know what is happening

It's the summer here in AZ which means the snow birds have left and wont be back until the winter. This means the census is lower in the hospitals so there really isnt a nursing shortage at the moment like there is in the winter, what I am saying this is probably a bad time of year to get firm offers. Be patient I know you will get what you want and dont just take anything because you are desperate
Thanks for the encouragement. I think I will find a course to do and keep my mind occupied whilst I wait. Some wise person said Patience is a virtue, so Im practising now. Thanks you all.

Even though I got an offer the hospital did say to me that they were not recruiting foreign nurses because of the retrogression. I was lucky because the ward manager was from the UK & because I had plenty of varied experience that meant that really they could place me virtually anywhere in the hospital they wanted too if needs be. however, even I'm getting nervous about the lack of anything concrete immigration wise coming out of the USA, I hope they don't withdraw their offer!!
I think that once hospitals know what's happening you will find that they will start recruiting in earnest again (assuming it's a positive "happening" that is!)

At least you got some +ve feedback. I guess I will sit tight since I have been patient thus far. All the best to evryone.
Is there anybody out there who is actually getting any further forward with their immigration to the US. It seems an age since anybody got a green card?
Well I am no further
