NMC Test Online

Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!

Thank you to all the nurses who gave some feedback on the exam. I just took the CBT yesterday and luckily I passed!. As what others were telling, the Royal Marsden was very helpful and some NMC code.

To all those who will take it...Good luck guys!

Is there a difference between taking the exam in Pearson Vue and MISnet? I just checked the available slots for the next 2 months and Pearson Vue has very few available days left. Does this mean that it is better to take it there?

MISnet has a lot more available days maybe due to the many time slots offered. They have 3 time slots for both AM and PM scheds..

What do you guys think? I really want to pass on my first take and I was wondering if the test center would matter?

I took mine at MISnet last Monday (and I passed weeeee!!!) and I was thankful because there were only a few people. There's an 8:30am sched with 2 examinees and 3 people (including me) in the 9am sched.

Regarding the exam itself, I will quote someone here. I was told, "Throw away everything except the Royal Marsden." I did that, but I still read the Code. The questions I got are more of decision-making and logic. When I don't know the answer, I just went with my gut feeling. XD

Hello,

Can someone help me, what should the doctor at the hospital I worked answer to the question "Have you previously employed the applicant in any capacity?" for the Declaration of health?

Hope to hear anyone from you soon. Thanks!

Freakozoa and nilasingnahipon..

congrats to both of you and thank you for your response!!

I passes the CBT exam last week.

BTW, I am on the application stage in NMC. but everytime I try to send my application details online, something always comes up and i have to retype my application details again and again. anybody here who have the same problem? what to do?

I thought I was the only one with this problem. I am experiencing the same problem. did you solve it already? I went to the prc branch where I applied. You just need to fill up the state board certification form and wait for a week to be processed.

hi! did you ask your friend if Omanfil will reimburse for your NMC expenses? thank you

@xhiwari

Hi,

I have just started with application too. How about the forms for the PRC to fill out? How much did it cost?

The NMC makes me wanna cry. They have deleted the duplicate account but didn't posted my Application fee payment. Is there anyone here who had the same situation as mine?

hi. where can I find the cheapest price for the Royal Marsden book? even an online file will do. Thanks!

Congrats on passing! What is the state board certification if I may ask? Is that the PRC document that looks like a diploma? Who did you approach to fill up the NMC document? Isn't it that the NMC needs the declaration to be shipped directly from PRC? How did you go about this?

No, I haven't solved it. I'm trying not to lose my temper when doing my uploads. I thought you upload one document at a time, but it still won't accept it. PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP ME OUT HERE?

As advised by the partner recruiter in UK of Omanfil, the OSCE will be taken around 5-6wks after arrival in UK. Before taking the OSCE, your hospital has a program to train you cause they want you to pass, of course. If you pass the first time, you can get your NMC pin after just 5 days of waiting...so hello band 5! If you fail on the first take, you may take the test again for a 2nd time. If you fail again, unfortunately, the hospital will send you back home. :(

What agency are you under, andy?
