Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!
Good Day everyone!
for those who have offer in CTN or HCL or in any company going to UK, who plan to take their IELTS this April 30, I would like to ask what kind of IELTS you will take, the regular or the new IELTS UKVI??because i'm not sure which one is necessary, and the UKVI is more expensive. my other concern is. if i take the regular IELTS and hopefully pass maybe the UK immigration will ask me to sit the UKVI. your answer is truly appreciated.
Hi guys!
In the processing stage now. Got accepted in another hospital, CUH/Medacs and thinking between that and CTN/IPAMS now. I want to clarify a few things first:
1) Who pays the registration fee, us or the agency?
2) Do we upload online copies of our documents first before directly sending hard documents to NMC by post?
3) Do all the copies need to be notarized before scanning (for online acct) or do we scan the originals?
@Trollbella
Passport is needed for the NMC exam :)
@Reizel_30
An agent told me there was a change in UKVI standards for the IELTS (4.0) but to be registered in NMC, it's still 7.0 overall. I took the Academic IELTS module last October 2014.
@nilasingnahipon, BSN, RN,
i think for those who took ielts before april 6 is still ok,but for onward we need to take UKVI. However the agency told me to take the regular academic module, as a requirements in NMC, but my query is, the immigration will not accept my ielts and ask to sit in UKVI, UKVI is more expensive

Maybe your agency is not aware of the new regulations posted by the UK Immigration. Professionals who want to go to the UK and be a registered professional there should take the UKVI. Expensive indeed.
hi can somebody help me out pls with the process , is there any ruling or procedure now in applying for Uk , Im confuse because i read need ielts academic and have a band score all 7 and in four areas , but now what is this UKVI ielts , which one to do first , the academic Ielts or this UKVI ielts , can someone help me out plsssssssssssssss
Hi PinoyRN12, what agency are you in? I'm waiting for over a month now but no updates yet as to when could I take the OSCE.
Whoa how'd that happen?? That would be troubling news (not begrudging the one invited of course), just worried since there are some of us that have been waiting for months (like you PinoyRN12) and haven't received any news about whether additional documents are needed or whatever else. So that begets the question of how they actually prioritize or process the documents. On the other hand, its also good to hear, that at least someones application already went through.
Hi everyone. I know this might sound dumb, but my 2 referees accidentally wrote dates on my employer reference form in a mm/dd/yyyy format instead of the required dd/mm/yyyy one. :/ I just want to ask, is it acceptable to just put a line across the date and write on top the correct format? Because it's quite hard in my case to ask for the golden stamp of my employer. Thanks!

Ive heard one of the candidates from our agency has just been invited to take the OSCE. Surprisingly, her application only took less than 2 weeks to be assessed.
