Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!

Hello! Whats ur agency? Im working in oman and my agency is from UK and they will take me straight from here to avoid all hussles from Philippines, the downside is I am processing everything including visa works. Is the same thing goes for u?

Hi! My agency is Dubai based call Matchworkers Intl. And yes, I am the one processing for everything from IELTS to visa but I dont have a problem with that, besides I wont pay them anything. They are just giving me updates and guides me through the whole procedure.

I'm also reviewing, I have the Royal Marsden 9th edition from my agency and some other publications like Standards for Medicine Management, Consent to Treatment, NMC code, MUST tool, Duty of Candour and NEWS. Plus I'm opening the links in the Blueprint. My head is spinning from all the links.

Is anybody here already in the UK or have already received their DL and just waiting to come here in the UK? I am starting to work in London North West Hospital this 14 November. Anybody wants to meet up and talk about OSCE topics? [email protected] that is my email. I believe two or more heads are better than one. Together we can hurdle this obstacle.

Did ur DL arrived already? My agency is also from UK and im om visa processing now. So far, everything is good and my agency is really helpful. My Cos has been issued almost two weeks after I passed DL. They r even very much eager to take me as early as one month after my DL, but we have theee months notice here in An so they have been waiting since then. For anyone interested for my agency, do email me. They prefer those who r not in Philippines since peocess is lot easier. But if u r in Philippines, you can still do try. Email me [email protected]

Hi guys! Just wanted to share that I got my DL yesterday! After a long wait. I was placed on queue twice that is why it took me so long to receive it.

Here is my timeline:

Aug 16 = online submission

Aug 30 = barcoded docs scanned in portal

Sept 30 = feedback = further info needed

Oct 4 = resubmitted online application

Oct 21 = resubmitted docs received on portal

Oct 27 = resubmitted form reflected on portal

Oct 28 = DL :)

It should have been just 30 days if not for my Saudi docs which gave me a lot of stress and headache. Anyway, thank God it is now finished!. I might be able to comply everything and be included for the application of Oct 5's COS :) weeeee.

Hi Sweetisay! I am happy for you! How did you send your Registration verification to Saudi? Did you send it directly to them? How many days was your waiting period before they sent it to UK? How about the payment? I am here now in the Philippines. I do not know anyone from Riyadh. Thank you.

Its was indeed a long road.. However, the awaited Decision Letter dropped into my mailbox without notice... Its a gift from God... He is good...:saint:

@sweetisay what did you tell them to speed up your assessment?

Resubmitted Oct 5, forms were reflected Oct 20. Until now, no DL. That's why im wondering why some people receive dl's just a day or 4 after resubmitted forms are reflected.

Hi dear, my husband resubmitted his papers and re entered in the queue on october 28. Now waiting for the DL. Hope will get it within 10-15 days. Both of you are in same situation i guess... please update on this page when you get ur DL.

Hello, im in the UK already. still waiting for the DL..will have a trip to London on the 13th. do you have a schedule for your OSCE? if not, just enjoy your time in the UK at the mean time. ;)

I am in the beginning stages of this process, currently studying for the online Test of Competence.

I am feeling a bit overwhelmed in terms of how to focus my studying. I am a Canadian nurse who has written the NCLEX exam, my current plan was to study the blueprints and complete practice questions that I used to study for the NCLEX exam.

Does anybody have further pointers or resources that they used to help study and pass the exam?

Hoping to write the exam next month but have not yet registered for the exam in case that is not enough study time.

hello, the royal marsden book and the code of nurses in UK are sufficient enough to pass the exam.

read the book from cover to cover.

Also if you would read some of the previous post from this thread you will find other helpful pointers from other test takers.

But in my case I only read those two and luckily pass the exam. I never got the chance to view and read the blueprint.
