Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!

congratulation on passing the nmc cbt.

i would like to ask what type of exam did u take to qualify as a nurse in UK?

is it the registered nurse-adult?

It takes a while.

For example my school documents were received on the 4th of august but my account is yet to reflect that.

I emailed the on august 4 to confirm that they have in fact received it (reading through all the horror stories of lost documents and having to send it again got me worried) so that I something in writing that says they did just incase i get an email that says they didn't. I got a response to that email on august 11. They said they received it and that they're still working on documents received on august 2 so mine should be uploaded sometime soon.

This document is the last of the lot needed so I can be put in the queue. Hopefully they put you there immediately upon uploading the final document and that there isn't a queue for the queue. :D

I've also sent an e-mail to NMC last august 4 and still got no reply. How long do you think will take them to reply to e-mails? I'm worried they won't reply to my e-mail then I'm just waiting for nothing. Sad life í ½í¸ž

no dont worry, they will upload it soon also. i encountered the same problem with you but I just waited and after a few days they uploaded everything

I just received my ATT from Pearson Vue and upon booking the exam I was confused as to which type of exam to take for the CBT.

should I choose the Registered Nurse-Adult?

Also, is there anyone here who has taken the cbt under misnet education?

I just took the NMC RN1 exam for the first time today and PASSED! YAY I'm so pumped. I just used the materials the person from Continental Travel Nurse sent me via email and also bought the Royal Marsden Manual of Clinical Nurisng on amazon for about $45.

I just checked my account and just tonight, PH time... it shows that they've uploaded the last of my documents. I hope this means I'm in the queue.

Emails are responded to within 10 business days. Sometimes earlier. Sometimes not at all. You just have to be assertive and determined. Hang in there everyone! Hopefully none of us encounter any problem and get our DLs right away!

Just saw on my portal that my documents were uploaded yesterday 12 Aug. However my Employment Reference Form 1 is not on the list.. only the Reference Form 2 is uploaded. What could this mean??

Looks like we both got into the queue at the same time. So this is day 1 of waiting for both of us.

Hey let me know on your status or when you get your DL ok, hopefully we get it at the same time as well. I just hope we get our DLs in less than 40 days like others did. Some time mid to late Sept, or early Oct, you think? Ughh I just pray we get it quick!

Adult nursing is pretty much the only nursing career most people applying could qualify for. Could you tell us why you are confused about choosing the type of exam? Do you meet the qualifications for children's, mental health, or learning disability nursing by any chance?

Sure thing. I'll update you all once i get my DL. Hopefully they won't need to ask us for further information. Mid September sounds good to me!

It means you have to wait for it to be uploaded for you to say that u r in que que list

I called the NMC regarding my problems and they told me what to do which I just did. Just I'm wondering, are these agents trustworthy? I mean, can I depend on their advices? From the NMC's feedback they told me to send a written explanation about some discrepancy, I called NMC to ask whether they want the letter to be via post and they answered me that an email will be enough. Im just wondering if her advice is valid since whenever I am sending a letter to Overseas, I will usually get a reply after three weeks and this is makng me anxious. If I'll sending a letter via post it will be expensive but thats fine because the letter will reach them in less than one week.

Pls give me some enligthenment guys. Should I do just what I was told to do?
