Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!

Hi! Sorry for taking too long to respond. I had some time off to calm my nerves after the exam this morning. I was nervous with the outcome and yet after almost 5 hours I received an email from NMC that I passed the test! Woooohooo! :up: Thank you for all your inputs btw all the topics cottntale32 shared really did became helpful. Thanks again! Glad I was able to read some important heads up. The Marsden book should also help you get started with the knowledge foundation and as for the blueprint I didn't bother to decipher those codes because some links were broken and outdated. :laugh: Happy I was able to get away with it and still managed to pass.

Our agency gave us only 5 weeks from after the employer's interview and receiving the conditional job offer to take the CBT. Admittedly, i was pressured given the limited time frame and honestly those 5 weeks weren't really dedicated to purely review and reading materials. Most days I was busy and preoccupied with the other requirements. Glad I was able to pass still. Best of Luck for all of those who will be taking the test!You can do it too:up:

I passed my references together with my school papers, but on my portal, only the referees were received. What seems to be the problem? Gettin anxious here. :(

i have question regarding the docs i send, NMC already received my docs (school records, prc, declaration of good health and employer references). all of them except my school records has an indication " this document has been received". i sent them all in one parcel, is that the problem?

I took the exam at 10 am today. Got an email that I passed the CBT at 7pm. Got a bunch of drug calc(manual calc),Thank God I survived it even I am really bad at math. I took my time and consumed more than 2 hours for the exam because I was really not confident, I reviewed less than a week. I am quite thankful that most of the questions I got are MS type. I only had 1 question about the code, several questions about safeguarding and decision making. God bless to all who are taking the CBT soon. Cheers!

Hi! may I know if you already completed the payment of 140 GBP at the NMC website after the result confirmation? I just wanted to check if how much exactly will it possibly be deducted from my Creditcard with the conversion rates today and if there's any additional surcharges Thanks:)

Exchange rates are quite low right now (GBP to PHP) so it might save you a few hundred pesos while the post-Brexit economy hasn't recovered yet--if it ever does.

I'm not really sure how much it would cost in peso or if there is an extra charge on your credit card, but as far as I know I only have Php9000 space on my credit card haha. Hope that helps.

I already submitted my application on NMC's website. I just need to complete those which are required to be submitted via mail. Our school is a bit slow in finishing those NMC forms. I hope I could submit everything on Friday. I believe ASC brings docs to UK every Friday.

Hi! I have a question, once your papers have been delivered to the NMC, will they update your portal righy away with 'Document received' or it will take quite some time? Cause my papers have been delivered to the NMC last week and I can only view my portal as 'Read Only'. Please do advise. Thank you!

It takes a while.

For example my school documents were received on the 4th of august but my account is yet to reflect that.

I emailed the on august 4 to confirm that they have in fact received it (reading through all the horror stories of lost documents and having to send it again got me worried) so that I something in writing that says they did just incase i get an email that says they didn't. I got a response to that email on august 11. They said they received it and that they're still working on documents received on august 2 so mine should be uploaded sometime soon.

This document is the last of the lot needed so I can be put in the queue. Hopefully they put you there immediately upon uploading the final document and that there isn't a queue for the queue. :D

Will NMC accept that? I mean, they want the school documents to come directly from your school.

You should call them. It might be because the documents came with the referals therefore didn't come directly from the school?

Hi shulace! Only PRC documents can have the office to office transaction. You have to get the papers from school and mail it yourself or give it to your agency. But you make sure the stuff from school are in a sealed official school envelop.
