Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!

I took the exam at 10 am today. Got an email that I passed the CBT at 7pm. Got a bunch of drug calc(manual calc),Thank God I survived it even I am really bad at math. I took my time and consumed more than 2 hours for the exam because I was really not confident, I reviewed less than a week. I am quite thankful that most of the questions I got are MS type. I only had 1 question about the code, several questions about safeguarding and decision making. God bless to all who are taking the CBT soon. Cheers!

Thank you very much! yep i failed because i didnt know about MEWs scoring í ½í¸±

thanks again i appreciate it so much! will certainly look for your post!

cheers! x

Congratulations!! Very happy for you. When I get back to the states after my holiday, I'm hoping you can help with questions I may have about the assessment stage! hahaha

Thank you. I did not, but I read the first 3 columns. I also browsed on NEWS 30 mins before the exam but nothing came out. Just really took my time in answering each question. Goodluck on your exam, I know you can do it.

Thank you cottntale! I think I was just really lucky. I was actually sad after the exam, I thought I failed it. Enjoy your vacay!

Hi! Sorry for taking too long to respond. I had some time off to calm my nerves after the exam this morning. I was nervous with the outcome and yet after almost 5 hours I received an email from NMC that I passed the test! Woooohooo! Glad I was able to read some important heads up. The Marsden book should also help you get started with the knowledge foundation and as for the blueprint I didn't bother to decipher those codes because some links were broken and outdated. Happy I was able to get away with it and still managed to pass.

Hi everyone. Is there anybody here who could recommend an agency, aside from ASC, who assist applicants for the UK? An agency who has deployed nurses for the past few years. I'm with one and my batch is the first for them so I'm really not sure whether to continue with them or not. I don't know if being the first group is an advantage or a disadvantage. THank you.

Guys, don't give up for the waiting time. The process is quite long but it's really worth it. It took me more than a year since the interview date. Now I am in the UK and it's really great here. The work is just kinda different because we have to do everything but how can we complain if we are paid well. Anyways good luck and God bless.

Hi em! Why didn't you want to be with ASC. I am also looking for an agency. My friend was under ASC and he was already deployed to Kingston. I had an employer's interview with Aureus Manpower and during the queue, I got to know applicants from IPAMS and they said they already had the DL but IPAMS didnt already have their COS.

In omanfil, they will secure the COS, and you can fky without the DL. Just wait for it in GB.

Hi JcaRN1029! I actually just passed the CBT a few days ago. But I just saw you post and wanted to ask you more about your experience there in the UK. Please PM me when you can! Your thoughts and opinions would be great! Thanks

Familiarizing yourself with the NEWS system is very important in preparation for the OSCE. Not so much for the CBT.
