Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!
On my 3rd week of waiting for my DL..and unfortunately, as I was checking my NMC Portal today, I saw a "Document Received Re-submission" note on the side of the Registration Verification Authority.
I have called NMC twice about this, and they told me they can't see any "Document Received Re-submission" on my portal from their side.. this is really weird.
I actually needed 2 registration verifications and that based from the experiences of those who had the same problem as mine, they just resubmitted a blank form. But, NMC can't see it from their system. Its weird. They just re-iterated that I was on Assessment queue already and just wait for my DL and there is no need to submit anything.
I'm extremely anxious about this.
Thanks Kurokocchi. I will call them again this afternoon, just for a 3rd and final clarification.
By the way, do anyone of you have an idea about the policy of NMC on Police Clearances? Its written "it must not be 3 months by the time the NMC received it.".. What is the meaning of "received"? Is it when you uploaded it on your portal and submitted or is it when you have been put on assessment queue?
Thanks a lot!
IIRC the police clearance is sent directly to the NMC and they're the ones who'll upload it. I think it simply means that the clearance should not have been more than 3 months old by the time NMC receives and uploads it on your portal. This is why it's usually advised to get your police clearance last since it has the shortest validity period of all the documents candidates need to procure.

Really? Do we have to submit a hard copy of our Police Clearance to NMC? I thought we only have to upload it on our NMC Portal.
Hi.
My wife and I are about to send our barcoded documents to NMC via courier. Is it alright if we send all our (References from Employer, Forms to Accompany Transcript, and our Declaration of Good Health) together in one courier package but placed in separate individual envelopes with both of our names as sender??
And both our Verification Forms from PRC together (still in separate envelopes) as well in a separate courier package with PRC as sender??
And is the Registration Training Areas Reference Form needed? I am not sure what this is for but I just had mine filled up by a senior nurse/supervisor. And placed the type of Nursing Specialty on the "Confirmation of completion of __(blank)__ Nursing"
For example: Confirmation of completion of __Medical-Surgical__ Nursing, or Confirmation of compeltion of __Theatre__ Nursing.
Am I doing these right?
Many thanks,
John

I don't think NMC will mind these arrangement but try asking them just the same so you know what's allowed and what isn't. Does PRC even allow you to courier 2 registration verification envelopes in one package?

If you're applying for adult nursing, that form is usually not needed.

OK! I'm glad to hear that everything worked out for you! I'm extra pumped now! LOL I will be on here periodically... more when I hit the assessment stage, I am sure. But I greatly appreciate it anytime that you come on and are willing to answer questions!
