Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!

Hi Yogibeeear and Krisjoy! I was a previous Niner reviewee from Cebu and review classes were, and still are, conducted everyday, Monday to Friday. Saturdays on the other hand are utilized for Mock Exams and coaching.

Since Krisjoy will be reviewing in Manila, it's a good thing Niners conduct their classes everyday there, too.

To those who will be taking OSCE sooner or later, or even to those just applying, it's always better to start learning and practising early. Most of the time you'll already know how to do the tasks asked of you, but you have to adjust them for the "proper NMC way" of doing nursing.

I just had my first clinical work day in the hospital last Thursday and I quickly found out nobody will "mentor" me since for the staff, it's just another typical busy day. Ask questions and ask to observe without getting in the way. Also, if possible volunteer to do the simplest tasks then work your way up. They can't turn you away because it's their explicit responsibility to make sure you know the ropes.

While working, always put in the front of your mind how you can apply the 6Cs in the task. Make it second nature. Most of the time I wasn't able to communicate with the patients since the staff and other HC team members were doing their work in a lightning-fast pace, but I'll get my chance. I'll be having my OSCE next month and I think having contact with the patients is definitely invaluable.

I'm still waiting for an overseas document that needs to be scanned and uploaded on my NMC portal (thereby unabling me to hit the "Submit" button). If it wasn't for that document, I should be on the assessment queue within 1st week of this month (April). :no:

Ielts is one of the requirements to take cbt. Ielts with all at least 7 in listening, speaking, reading and writing. God bless you.

I am in the Application and Assessment stage right now. I am a staff nurse here in Oman.

I submitted my reference forms and Ministry of health Oman Post Registration Authority forms last March 16 via DHL. According to DHL tracking it was delivered on March 17 and have a delivery proof.

Comparing all the documents I have sent (PRC, health declaration & school docs, registration authority ), including the documents from Oman, all delivery proof show that it was signed by an "R SEAR".

My concern is: My Oman documents are still not showing on my NMC online account that it has already been received. Its already 2 weeks now since the time it was delivered to NMC Portland Place.

All my Philippine docs have been uploaded to the site in less that 2 weeks, but the Oman docs which were the most important are taking quite a while.

Anyone here having or had the same worry of the docs not being really delivered? Or should I really be concerned?:nailbiting:

Hello aleftie! I am experiencing the same with my transcript of training from thr university. Its quite weird since the documents were scanned in their system in less than 10 days. I phoned nmc last week and they told me that it will take up to 15 working days.

Please update me if they have scanned your document already. All the best!
