  1. Hie Snowy girl. It's there in Royal Marsden, you have to change the needle. Read drug preparation and administration sections. All the best.
  2. Thank you for reaching out. Be blessed. It allays so much anxiety when people give tips
  3. if you are following Royal Marsden then you're on the right track. I hear that's the main clinical reference book they follow. Is there anyone who hasn't taken the OSCE recently. Please share tips and advice.
  4. I checked the Royal Marsden and there's a step that says apply gloves and assess the injection site then proceed to clean the injection with a swab. There is no step that says discard gloves so maybe we continue till we administer the drug.
  5. It's day 23 and received DL today after a long impatient anxious wait. Patience is a virtue guys and reading peoples different experiences gave me hope. Now welcome OSCE. Tips and advice welcome.
  6. Congratulations, To achieve its about perseverance and having faith that God will always see you through. Best wishes in the next stages.
  7. Hie, when did you submit all your documents? I submitted everything by 9 December 2015 and they confirmed a few days later that I have been placed on the queue. i checked with them last week and they re uploaded my documents on my portal and said Im now on the queue again. Ive stayed a month thinking Im on the queue, hope we het the decision letters soon and prepare for OSCE.
  8. All the best hey. I am still waiting for the decision letter which seems to be taking forever. Best wishes
  9. God is good all the time and thats His nature. My last document reached NMC 9 December 2015. I called to inquire about the assessment and queue issues, then i was told to send in a blank downloaded form that accompanies transcript , did you go through that yourself? I am just anxious about the whole process. congratulations and all the best in OSCE.
  10. Am new in this thread but thank you for the encouragement. Congratulations on this achievement,I wont give up am still waiting for a go ahead to take the OSCE all the documents have been sent in but they got there in batches not at once. How long did it take for them to give you a go ahead to take the OSCE?
  11. Its good to hear that people are progressing well with their exams passing the cbt I once feared.1. Has anyone taken the OSCE in Northampton and hows the experience like, most pple have commented on the cbt only. 2.My documents have been sent to the nmc but they came in batches and it wld take abt 10 days per document to appear online so does this mean i have to wait for the last one for them to say that im already in the queue or they just assess the documents as they come.
  12. Reading this thread really helped me a lot. I took the cbt test today and recorded a pass first attempt. to all those preparing for the cbt take all the advise given, all nmc codes related material ,infection control, the royal marsden manual and allcase studies given by nmc code. remember to put God first in all you do above all. Thanks lots guys.
  13. Thank you lots . All I need is to give it my best shot with all this in mind
  14. I will be taking the cbt for the first time and reading how people feel about how the exam is set is not so encouraging and quite a scare. Anyone who took the exam recently for tips? Its sad if majority people fail because of the ''critical questions'' Really don't know how I will get it right because certainly its not a normal distribution unless those who pass are not on this forum....
