Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!
Hi everyone!I will be taking the CBT exam soon, hopefully by May after I take my IELTS this April.
I have two review materials with me now, the NMC Manual (compiled by a previous examinee) and Royal Marsden e-book.
Any suggestions on what topics I need to focus on? Also, how long did you guys review for the exam? Is 1 month enough?
Thank you! :)
Hey! I just wrote the IELTS last week so we are on the same timeline. 6 more days until I get those results then can actually start the process. Assuming a Canadian born english speaker can pass the ielts! Good luck!
Hello aleftie! I am experiencing the same with my transcript of training from thr university. Its quite weird since the documents were scanned in their system in less than 10 days. I phoned nmc last week and they told me that it will take up to 15 working days. Please update me if they have scanned your document already. All the best!
Hello zeejei!
Glad to inform you that all my documents are now uploaded in my NMC portal.
that last documents did take quite a long time to upload though. It was delivered by DHL to NMC on march 17, it was uploaded on april 4 in my portal.
Does that mean I am already in the queue? there's no email from NMC nor it doesn't show in my NMC portal. All it shows there is "submitted"
Hope yours will be uploaded very soon. Its like accomplishing one big tedious task. :)
It has been three weeks since I was put on queue. I am really getting anxious everyday. Anybody here received their decision letter just recently?
hello andrei15!
How does one know if they are already put on queue? Does NMC send an email or will it exactly show in my NMC portal that I am already in the queue?
For your reference, I finished submitting all my documents, they were also uploaded in my NMC portal. Also clicked submitted after filling out all the online forms in the assessment stage.
Thank you :)

Hi! As soon as your documents are reflected on the portal then you are already on queue. No emails or notifications will be sent to you saying you are already on the queue. Just keep an eye on any feedbacks there on the portal. Good luck!
I am feeling anxious now.NMC received my document march 22, but they have not uploaded it in my account till now. Anyone who also encountered this stressfull issue before?
I had the same issue. The reference docs and the post registration authority was delivered on march17, then it was finally uploaded on april 4. sometimes nmc uploads slowly, sometimes they're fast. Please also note that during the holy week, there were two public holidays in the UK so that also caused the delay. Yours, should hopefully be uploaded soon :)

Thank you aleftie! I hope they'll upload my documents soon so I can be placed in the assessment queu. This process is so stessful.

Hi,I have the same problem, struggling to upload documents and also documents thats was sent does not show up as received. I submitted application thinking all is in order and received reply saying Those docs still need to be uploaded. Problem is that everything is time sensitive and id there is one problem then have to redo everything again. Police clearance only valid for few months and really difficult to obtain in the first place, also medical certificate, had to get second one as first one more than 6 months. Very frustrated, been doing this for nesrly 2 years now, working as careworker in scotland when I should be nursing. The whole process very unuser friendly
