Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!

Hi! Anyone who has an idea if NMC accepts or considers the clinical instructor experience? Does the clinical experience for one year should only come from one hospital or can it be a combined experience from 2 different hospitals?and also if NMC accepts reference letter from a superior/ head nurse who handled you only for 10mos.? Thanks and hoping to hearing from anyone soon.

Hi! Im Ryan, a filipino who just arrived here in Uk last month. I got ur email in allnurses and I will be taking up my OSCE soon. The exam is getting into my nerves already and I hope you can share some insights about the exam. I hope and wish you can help me send some thru my email, [email protected]

Thank you so much!

NMC has a host of useful guidelines and standards posted on their website. It would be wise to check them out first. :)

Hi guys! I registered at nmc website and passed the eligibilty to take the part 1 exam which is the CBT. It's been two months now but I haven't received the log in informations yet that I will be needing to register to pearson vue. Do you guys know the reason why I haven't received it yet?

unfortunately, i failed my 1st attempt of osce. to those who were unsucessful did nmc or norhampton uni give u any detailed explanations as to why u failed? its just that i kind of felt i would pass right after i took the test but it turned out the other way.. i just want to know what went wrong. and i dont know what to do next. im feeling a bit low..

hi xai_mei, they don't give much explanation as why you failed because of the confidentiality of the test. I, too failed and i wasn't quite sure which part i did wrong.there's nothing much i can do but just study again and perhaps follow every step in the Royal Marsden.. Did you have a Full or Partial Fail?

well, i think its just fair to give us a little feedback so we'll know what or not to do next time. i was just told that i failed and that was it. no feedback at all! that i need to resit in full.

It has been three weeks since I was put on queue. I am really getting anxious everyday. Anybody here received their decision letter just recently? :(

As far as I know they will state what went wrong but will not fully explain it. Are you from a Trust or an independent applicant?
